Mudassar Khan: Delhi is India’s dance capital

It’s not unusual for a celeb who comes to Delhi to rave about the city’s food, culture and heritage. But when choreographer Mudassar Khan was in Delhi, he called Delhi India’s ‘dance capital’.
The choreographer, who is currently judging 'Dance India Dance', told us, “Last year, when we had conducted auditions in Delhi, we had got a lot of hip hop dancers. But this time, it was a nice mix of dancers including Bollywood dancers, hip hop and Indian dancers.

So it won’t be wrong to say that Delhi is a great platform for dancers after Mumbai. Delhi is the capital of India and I think it’s also the dance capital.”
