MasterChef India: Baa Bahoo Aur Baby fame Benaf Dadachandji makes a comeback with husband Norman Huo; says 'Coming back to TV with this show feels incredibly special'
MasterChef India Season 9 recently premiered on January 5, with a theme celebrating pairs. As cooking duos from across India join the show, the upcoming episode is set to surprise viewers with the entry of TV actress Benaf Dadachanji and her husband, Norman Huo, as contestants. The actress is all set to make a special comeback to television, this time in an unexpected role.
Benaf, who started her journey as a child actor and has featured in several films and television shows, will be seen on MasterChef India as part of the much-awaited Jodi Special Season. As per the theme of the show, couples step into the kitchen together to bring their culinary skills and personal stories to the forefront.
The official Instagram handle of the channel airing the show shared a promo of the upcoming episode where Benaf and her husband are seen entering the MasterChef India stage. She introduced herself and her husband to the judges and talked about the projects she has been part of as an actress. Teaming up with her husband Norman, the duo brings together two cultures, two cuisines, and one shared passion for food. She describes their cooking style as “dancing in chaos,” as the couple blends the bold, robust flavours of Parsi cuisine with the delicate, nuanced techniques of Chinese cooking.
Chefs Vikas, Kunal and Ranveer taste the dish and they absolutely love it. Benaf and her husband Norman get an entry into the next round.
Speaking about her return to television, Benaf Dadachandji said, “Coming back to TV through MasterChef India feels incredibly special. This time, I’m not playing a character, I’m just being myself. Cooking with Norman, bringing together our cultures and flavours, and doing it on a platform that India loves so deeply makes this journey truly unforgettable.”
For the first time in the history of the show, 12 Jodis will showcase their culinary skills, celebrating family legacies, partnerships, and the power of cooking together. The show is judged by the OG judges Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar, and Kunal Kapur.
