‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2’ January 16 written update: Dev says yes to marrying Saloni

The latest episode of ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2’ begins with Babaji asking Tulsi and Mihir about what they truly want. He had earlier granted Tulsi a wish after being impressed by her actions with the saree incident and Kanta Ben. Tulsi tells him that they need more time for the repayment. Babaji easily grants them more time; however, pitches that he wants Dev and Saloni to get married, shocking both Mihir and Tulsi.

Tulsi and Mihir talk to Dev about Babaji’s request

Babaji’s request shocks Mihir and Tulsi. The latter asks for some time to talk to Dev about the matter. As they narrate the whole issue to Dev, it shocks him to the core as he tells Mihir and Tulsi that he is not ready for marriage. He adds that he likes his life right now and cares about his freedom too much to take on such a big responsibility.




Mihir worries that Dev’s refusal of the proposal will cause a lot of problems; however, Tulsi reassures him. She tells him that this is not a business deal and that she will talk to Babaji once the time is right.

Noina tries to change Dev’s opinion

Noina had earlier overheard the conversation, and later called Dev away from the wedding ceremony. Dev feels confused as to why Noina asked him to meet away from everyone. Noina tries to change his mind about the marriage proposal and tells him that he will be missing out on a lot of things. She tells him to reconsider, as if he gets married to Saloni, he will live the life of a prince. She asks him to take action soon, as Tulsi is going to tell Babaji that he said no.

Ahead of Tulsi disclosing Dev's decision to Babaji, he comes in and seeks blessings, saying that he is happy about getting married to Saloni. Tulsi remains confused; however, Dev reassures her that he thought about it a lot and came to the conclusion that he likes Saloni.

Tulsi and Babaji talk about the payment

As everyone celebrates the auspicious occasion, Babaji asks Tulsi about the repayment regarding Shanti Niketan. He asks her why they chose to put up the house at stake in the matter. Tulsi reassures him and tells him that they will deal with everything; however, they need 3 more months.

The episode comes to an end as Babaji agrees while Gaurav talks to Mihir about how lucky the family is to have Tulsi.
