'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2' 24th March written update: Angad secures his place at the factory as Mitali's custody battle turns ugly

'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' opens with Gautam still wrestling with the fallout of his argument with the family when the doorbell rings. He opens the door to find Nakul badly injured, telling him that Damini has been in an accident and is in the hospital. Gautam does not hesitate for a second. He rushes to the hospital, where the nurse stops him, and the doctor asks him to wait while the procedure is underway. Nakul apologises, and Gautam quietly assures him that his mother will be fine.

Gautam takes the fall

When the police arrive at the hospital to take statements, Gautam steps forward without being asked and tells them he was the one driving, that he lost control, and the car hit a tree. Damini backs his account. The police take Gautam in for further investigation, and as he leaves, Nakul watches and finally understands what his father has just done for him. It is a moment of realisation that hits without any dialogue to explain it.

Mitali crosses every line

Meanwhile, Mitali has gone to Timsi's school, lied to the teacher about a vaccination appointment, and taken Timsi home. When Munni informs Ritik, he immediately tells her to stay calm, but Mihir overhears and registers that Mitali has gone too far this time. Ritik and Munni go to Mitali's house, where she receives them with a composed front that barely conceals her aggression. Ritik confronts her directly, asking how she dared to take Timsi without permission. Mitali tells him to keep his voice down and reminds him she still has rights over her daughter.

The argument escalates quickly. Mitali blames Ritik for destroying her modelling career, pointing to his Instagram post as the reason she was disqualified. Ritik reminds her she was disqualified for lying about being married, not because of him. Mitali refuses to accept this and tells them to leave, saying the court will decide the rest. Munni tries to be the voice of reason, asking Mitali why she keeps doing this when Timsi herself does not want to be with her. Ritik goes inside the house to get Timsi and loses his temper completely. Munni steps in before things spiral further.

Pari and Ajay: an impossible situation

Ajay tells Pari about Sanjana's ultimatum: marry him, but break all ties with Pari first. Pari, rather than fight it, tells Ajay that his parents are not wrong and that Sanjana is willing to accept Sunny, which matters. She suggests he stop meeting her. Ajay refuses, telling her he will not marry Sanjana and that if he ever marries again, it will be Pari. Pari admits she loves him but tells him she is helpless, saying she feels she has done an injustice to his parents and is paying the price for it. She walks away without looking back.

Noina hides her secret from Mihir

Suchi receives a call from Mihir about a meeting and is about to tell him she is at the hospital when Noina stops her. Noina asks Suchi to take her home instead. When Mihir arrives looking for Timsi, he confronts Noina directly, asking her to stop playing games and tell him where Mitali has taken his granddaughter. Noina insists she genuinely did not know about Mitali's plan. Mihir is not convinced but leaves with the demand for Timsi's return ringing in the air.

Angad turns the tables at the factory

In Jamshedpur, the episode's most satisfying sequence unfolds when the manager demands that Angad apologise to Vrinda. Angad refuses, but makes a counter demand: he will apologise, on one condition, which he will reveal the following morning at the factory. The next day, he states his condition clearly: the management must apologise and accept the workers' demands, and Nandu must be reinstated before he does anything.

Miku Dada backs the workers and warns Vrinda that a strike is coming if their demands are not met. Vrinda, rather than digging in, chooses the harder and braver path. She stands before everyone, admits she was wrong, and apologises publicly. Nandu gets his job back. Vrinda then tells Angad she wants him at the factory too and assigns him to check the accounts, asking him to join from Monday. Thakur tries to block the appointment, but Vrinda shuts it down, telling him Angad is capable and that she is vouching for him personally.

The workers celebrate and thank Angad. Mangal, however, is not satisfied, telling Miku Dada that Angad cannot be trusted. Miku disagrees, saying the Viranis may own the factory, but they run it, and he believes Angad will not betray them. Dada sends Bharti home and tells Nandu to get ready. Kajri, still suspicious of Angad's private conversations, decides she needs to speak to Miku Dada. Nandu sends her home before she can.
