Krushna Abhishek misses mama Govinda; here’s a look at times when The Kapil Sharma Show fame candidly showed his love for ‘Chichi mama’ amidst the family dispute

Krushna Abhishek and his mama Govinda’s rift has often been on the public radar. Their family feud has made way to the headlines in the past some time. A lot has been said and done between their respective families, in the media. However, Krushna’s response to everything related to Govinda has shown his love for the actor. Recently, he got emotional while talking about his mama on Maniesh Paul’s podcast. With them taking to the headlines, here’s a look at all times when Krushna showed his love for mama Govinda amidst the family feud:

Krushna recently appeared in Maniesh Paul’s podcast and was asked about the feud by the host. At first, he refused to say anything citing that whatever he says reaches Govinda in an edited way, ultimately worsening the matter. As Maniesh assured him that none of his statements would get edited in his podcast, Krushna candidly said, “Chichi mama, main aapse bohot pyaar karta hun, aur aapko bohot miss karta hun. Hamesha miss karta hun aur yaad karta hun, aap kabhi papers aur unn cheezon pe kabhi mat jana. Ki media mein kya aa gaya hai aur kya likha hai.”

Krushna got teary-eyed as he spoke about his mama. Talking further about his relationship with Govinda, the actor-comedian said, “Main ek hi cheez bohot miss karta hun, main chahta hun ki mere jo babies hai, wo mere mama ke sath khele. Wo bohot miss karta hun main. Aur muhje pata hai wo mujhe bohot yaad karte honge, hamesha yaad karte honge.”

During one of The Kapil Sharma Show episode, Krushna was seen indirectly speaking about the dispute between the families. It was when he praised Raveena and Govinda starrer film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ by giving it a different name. The actor said that he loved her movie ‘Bade Miyan Bade Miyan’ to which Raveena reacted by taking the correct name. Krushna reacted to this by saying, that for him the Chote Miyan is only Bade Miyan. He further added, “Maine jo kuch bhi seekha hai unhi se seekha hai. Woh alag baat hai woh mereko chote miyan nahi maante hai. Theek hai, koi baat nahi, family hai, chalta rehta hai. Karenge baat, solve hoga, koi problem nahi.”

In another episode of TKSS, Krushna candidly shared that he got reminded of mama Govinda. It was during an episode with phenomenal singers Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu and Anuradha Paudwal. As he entered the stage to perform his set in front of the guests, Krushna greeted Udit Narayan and said, “Aapko dekhke Mamaji ki yaad aa gayi.”

It was during an episode with Tapsee Pannu that Krushna did a wordplay around her film ‘Saand Ki Aankh’. He joked about it and said that he got really scared. Following this, Kapil mocked Krushna and said, “Isko toh mama bhi aankhen dikha jaate hai,” leaving Krushna stumped. However, he came with a perfect reply and said, “Maine mama ki bhi Aankhen dekhi hai. Chunky Panday tha na usme? Bohot achchi picture thi woh. Bohot mazaa aaya.”

Krushna came out in support of mama Govinda when he faced a massive backlash on his music video. Reacting to the trolling in an interview, Krushna had said, “For me, he will always be Hero No.1.”

During the Ganpati celebrations last year, Krushna was spotted sharing his desire of resolving issues with mama Govinda and family members. It was when the actor was asked about his wish on the festival that Krushna shared that he wishes for the ‘family matter’ with ‘mama-mami’ also gets resolved soon.

Things took a turn in the adorable relationship of Govinda and Krushna when the latter didn’t appear on his show and shot for another reality show instead. Further during the same time, Krushna’s joke ‘Maine Govinda ko mama rakha hai’ didn’t go down too well with the Bollywood actor. Everything took a serious and ugly turn as both the parties started targeting each other in their public statement. The matter further escalated when Krushna refused to be a part of the episodes of The Kapil Sharma Show that featured Govinda and family. Later, in November 2020 that Govinda swear to not discuss any family matters in public. However, the families of the two have not left any opportunity to attack each other over time. After years of much being said and done, Krushna seems to be looking forward to resolving the matter and getting pally with mama Govinda again. Where does this take their relationship is yet to be seen.
