In the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 17, Asif Imran Qureshi from Indore takes the hot seat. His two daughters break down in tears. He is a construction site labourer, who cuts rods and beams.
Asif talks about his 3 daughters and calls them his, “Aan, baan and shaan.” He breaks down in tears while talking about them. He says that he is willing to take any risk for them.
Asif also rides autorickshaw for extra income and says, “My daily target is to atleast earn Rs 2000 every day and when that doesn’t happen, it worries me a lot.” The daughters also share how hard he works, the injuries he sustains at work and doesn’t complain at all.
Asif talks about the medical condition of his middle daughter. She has Sickle cell anemia (an inherited blood disorder where red blood cells become rigid, sickle-shaped, and cannot carry oxygen effectively). He says, “I want to win the amount for her treatment and I want all my daughters to become doctors.
He clears two levels without using any lifelines.
His daughter shares that he doesn’t buy anything for himself. They share, “We have never seen our parents anything buy for themselves. My father brought clothes some 10 years back. With the amount he wins, we want him to shop for himself.”
He wins Rs 80,000 in the Super Sandook round and it goes to his account as all his lifelines were present.
