Karan Mehra speaks about estranged wife Nisha Rawal and her friends’ conspiracy against him, accuses her of infidelity, says 'I am going to fight and not compromise’

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor Karan Mehra, held a press conference today in the city and made some shocking revelations about his estranged wife Nisha Rawal, her friends and family members. The former couple filed for divorce last year and are engaged in a legal battle fighting for their son Kavish’s custody. Today (August 4), Karan spoke about his side of the story and shared that he’s got drawn in a conspiracy. Here’s what all he said:

Rohit Sethia, Laxmi Rawat, Rohit K Verma, Munisha Khatwani… I feel bad for them but I can’t do much. I have to tell the truth. Nisha’s family has been seeing all this for 1 year. We are not kids, everything is visible and out in the open. Rohit K Verma is actually a witness to in the first case of Nisha’s infidelity.

In May, Nisha Rawal, Rohit Sethia and Laxmi Rawat conspired against me and false cases were filed against me. They made false accusations, threw me out of the house, and physically assaulted me. I was recovering from Covid-19 and I was sleeping when they barged in. Laxmi was recording the video to see if I reacted when he was hitting me. But I never hit back. And I wonder why that video didn't come out? It is clearly seen who was hitting whom. It was a staged set. He physically assaulted me under the pretext of being Nisha’s brother.

In November, before Diwali, I went with my bankers for the car and get my basic stuff. I was living life out of one suitcase from June-November. I just had 4 t-shirts. I didn’t even buy anything because I wanted to remind myself of what I was going through. They once again physically assaulted me. They didn’t allow me to meet my son. Rohit S questioned me that who have me permission to enter the house and if I had court orders. Imagine, I was questioned for entering my own house.

Rohit Sethia called up a few people from some political parties to intimidate me. They started talking to bankers. Who are they to talk to my bankers? House is mine, car is mine, who are they to interfere? I have proof of all. They also accused me in court saying I have threatened to kill Kaavish. This is what is happening to me.

I have submitted proofs of 1400 pages. There are 55 pages of hard evidence of how the trio is involved in the conspiracy. It also has evidence against Rohit K Verma and Munisha Khatwani, who were speaking on behalf of Nisha giving bytes to media. It clearly shows the conspiracy going against me.

Nisha went to Lock Upp and she accepted infidelity. She said in the show that she hasn’t spoken much about us, the marriage. Take note of all the interviews. Tell me, of the 40 days she spent in Lock Upp show, tell me one thing she did without taking my name in the show.

It’s all on record. You can’t character assassinate a mother. We are a bit biased like that. But a father’s character assassination is fine on TV because the mother is saying so. If a mother is saying, then she must be speaking the truth. There are so many false cases. Many people shrug it off because they don’t want to go through the embarrassment of going through the process. I will fight and make sure the fight is on. I will not compromise.

While Karan Mehra held a press conference, on the same day, estranged wife Nisha Rawal was snapped with her son Kavish at a birthday party. The actress attended Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij's daughter Tara's birthday.

In his press conference, Karan levelled allegations against estranged wife Nisha Rawal and said that she is in a relationship with her ‘namesake’ brother of 14 years, Rohit Sethia. Karan said, “Nisha is staying with another man in my house. We have produced the proof in the court. Nisha is having an extramarital affair. Rohit Sethia is her muhbola bhai of 14 years. I didn’t have proof back then, that’s why I didn’t say anything.”
