It's not easy balancing my shooting schedule with studies, but I’m determined to do it: Niharika Chouksey

Niharika Chouksey may be busy with her acting career, but is clear that she wants to complete her education as well. She says, “I’m focusing on my graduation in Arts and IT. It’s not easy balancing my shooting schedule with studies, but I’m determined to do it. My friends help me with notes and my college is also supportive.”

Despite her busy schedule, Niharika says she doesn’t feel like she’s missing out. “I’ve made friends in the industry itself, so I don’t miss out on having a social life. Whenever we’re free, we meet and have a good time.”

The actress, who will be seen in the upcoming show, Tum Se Tum Tak along with Sharad Kelkar, started her career at 14 with doing Ads and TV shows. By the time she was 17, she landed a lead role in Faltu. She shares, “I’m thankful to have bagged main roles in TV shows so early in my career, but I still have a long way to go. I’m happy to have fulfilled my dream of being a part of showbiz. My family shifted from Madhya Pradesh to Mumbai for my acting dream.”

Reflecting on her career so far, Niharika acknowledges the unpredictable nature of the industry. The actress who has been part of shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Aaina and Faltu, says, “It’s disheartening when one show goes off air, especially when you work hard on it. But I’ve learnt that we have to go on. What happens to a show isn’t in our control—we can only do our best.”
