Hina Khan on her chemo phase
During her interaction with Soha Ali Khan on the podcast All About Her, the ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actor described just how difficult the treatment period was. Speaking about chemotherapy cycles, Hina said, “It was tough, it was very tough, those days were extremely, extremely tough. So every patient is given a gap of around a week between the first and the second chemotherapy, for some it is even three weeks, depending on the diagnosis.”
She explained that the structure of the treatment itself shapes how patients experience their days. The pain and recovery come in waves rather than all at once.
Finding balance between pain and living fully
Hina went on to share how her own chemotherapy schedule worked and how she chose to live around it. She revealed, “So in my case, I used to take chemotherapy every three weeks. So, my first week used to be extremely hard, so painful, I used to get a lot of pain in my nerves, but the rest of the two weeks were fab. During that time, I have travelled, I have done everything.”
She added that while the pain during the first phase was intense. She consciously decided to make the most of the better days. That shift in mindset helped her reclaim small moments of normalcy, even in the middle of treatment.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Hina Khan was last seen in the show 'Pati Patni Aur Panga' with her husband, Rocky Jaiswal. The show was hosted by Sonail Bedre and Munawar Faruqui. Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla emerged as the winners of the show.
