#International Dog Day! Here's how pet parents from tellyland indulge their furry companions

Furry friends can be the greatest stress busters and TV actors swear by their pets. In fact, very often you can see these celebs put up posts of their adorable pets on social media. On International Dog Day today, here's a look at some of them...

Anupamaa actor Sudhanshu Pandey says, "My entire family is obsessive about pets. We love indulging them and even buy expensive pair of shoes for them. Both Jack and Pepper have almost three or four times the energy we have, and it's fun playing with them the entire day."

Erica says, "Since the time Champ has entered my life, he's been my biggest stress buster, my best friend and that shining ray of hope who lights up every single day of my life."

Jennifer Winget has a labrador, who she calls Breezer; she has a number of pictures on her social media of her pet sleeping over her, playing with her, celebrating Christmas and birthday parties, and sometimes even accompanying her to the sets. It is a treat to watch the actress and her pet show love and affection in abundance.

Karan Patel and his wife and actress Ankita Bhargava Patel have a brown labrador, who is named Naughty Patel. Karan has a social media account for him and one can see many pictures of Naughty with the Patel family, all of them having a blast.

Narayani says, "I have three dogs. Two are labradors Hari Prasad and Kali and the other is Indie - Vicky. My pets are my babies, what more can I say? It's lovely to play with them on the beaches of Goa." The actress also has cats. And she loves to see how the dogs and cats make a happy family at home.

Talking about his pet, Sourabh says, "A pet dog has been a part of my life since my childhood days. I literally grew up with one, and now in Wafer I see my first baby. With both my pets, back then and now, one thing is similar and that is unconditional love. Somewhere that teaches me the most important aspect of humanity, which is compassion towards each other."

Mahi has three pets. She is seen here with Figo. She says, "Having three dogs in my life has made me understand parenting much better because my dogs are just like my babies."

Jaskaran Singh and Ridheema Tiwari are parents to three pets. They also have an Indie named Arya. Jaskaran says, "My pets are a great source of motivation and our constant companions, especially during the pandemic. Ridheema and I look after our babies well and always try different things to make them feel comfortable. We even designed our home in such a way that it is convenient for them in terms of their daily routine."

Urvashi says, "My pets are my babies and like every mother I make sure that they are happy, joyous and most importantly loved. They bring me joy, they give me unconditional love and most important, they teach me how to love more and more with every passing day. They make me a better human being." She has also adopted another Indie dog - Chai.
