Imlie to Anupamaa; TV shows shift shoots to Goa, Hyderabad and other locations

Owing to the rapid increase in number of COVID-19 cases, especially in Maharashtra, CM Uddhav Thackrey recently announced a 15-day lockdown in the state. The curfew guidelines came as a setback for the TV and film industry as they stated a halt in shoots in Mumbai. But the producers of shows have decided to shift their shoot locations to not let the chain of their episodes break. Here’s a list of the shows and their changed shoot locations amidst the Maharashtra curfew:

Imlie, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein, Anupamaa to shift to Hyderabad

Sumbul Touqeer and Gashmeer Mahajani starrer Imlie, produced by Four Lion's Production, is all set to shift its location to Hyderabad’s Ramoji Film City. The cast and crew of the show were shooting in Mumbai till now and might soon shift to Hyderabad. Moreover, there are reports that other popular shows of the channel, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein and Anupamaa will also shift their location to Hyderabad.

Kundali Bhagya's cast and crew flew off to Goa

Ekta Kapoor’s Kundali Bhagya, which stars Shraddha Arya and Dheeraj Dhoopar in the lead is all set to shift its shoot location to Goa. The cast and crew of the show have already taken off to Goa and will soon start shooting there. Further, reports suggest that it is not just Kundali Bhagya but Balaji Telefilms has decided to shift all its shows including Kumkum Bhagya, Mollki and Yeh Hai Chahatein in most probability in Goa.

Humari Wali Good News to shoot in Manesar

The cast and crew of Humari Wali Good News are shifting to Manesar, Haryana until the ban on shoots in Mumbai is lifted by the state government. Raghav Tiwari, one of the lead actors of the show confirmed the news and told BT, that the team will start shooting in Manesar from April 16 onwards.

Mehendi Hai Rachne Wali will move to Hyderabad

Just like Imlie, Shivangi Khedkar and Sai Ketan Rao's Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali produced by SOL Productions and Sandiip Films, have also decided to shift their shoot location to Hyderabad’s Ramoji Film City. Though the shoot location was based in Kolhapur till now, the producers have planned to shift to Hyderabad owing to the rapidly increasing cases in the state of Maharashtra.

Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti to shit to Surat

After going through the COVID-19 tests, the cast and crew of Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti will take off to Surat. The Neha Marda and Siddhaanth Vir starrer is all set to shoot the upcoming episodes in a city of Gujarat soon, with its whole team.

Pandya Store to be shot in Bikaner

Shiny Doshi and Kinshuk Mahajan starrer Pandya Store, produced by Sphere Origins will reportedly shift its shoot location to Bikaner.

Choti Sardarni, Namak Issk Ka will shoot in Hyderabad

Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and Avinesh Rekhi starrer Choti Sardarni and Shruti Sharma, Aditya Ojha and Monalisa’s Namak Issk Ka will also be shooting in Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.

Would have better of only politics shifted as decision of lockdown has come too late and too less.City like Mumbai cant be put under lockdown due outdated infrastructure and heavily congested localities.If proper social distancing is maintained then half of the city will have to move out of Mumbai.
