Sudhanshu Pandey

"I believe in the power of peace and love as advocated by Gandhiji. We all have been influenced by him one way or the other. I remember I was taken to watch the film on Gandhi by my school in Nainital. The memory is still fresh. Gandhiji will always be remembered for his contribution to the nation as well as society."

Shubhangi Atre

"We celebrate Gandhi Jayanti every year on this day, and we also remember everything he has done for our nation. While we are grateful for his contribution, I also feel that there is a lot that we still have to learn from his ethics and values. I can’t point out one quality that I consciously follow but non-violence, honesty and the dedication he had towards everything in life is something I try to incorporate in my day-to-day. If we all can even imbibe even the smallest qualities of Mahatma Gandhi, we will progress in life."

4/9

Shehzada Dhami

"Gandhiji was a great personality. The biggest learning from him is the patience that he always displayed. Along with that, he was also very dedicated. With these qualities, he made sure we got freedom for our country. One more thing I have picked up from his teachings is that I one has to give their hundred per cent and the results will follow. Gandhiji’s patience and his belief that one has to be to true to hinself... I have imbibed these qualities from him."

5/9

Amal Sehrawat

"The most important lesson I have learnt is that it’s not important to be human but to be humane and take into consideration others feelings before saying or doing something that could hurt them. Why people react is because they are in a different situation and it’s for others to understand that and that’s being humane. Also, I’m a huge animal lover so being compassionate towards animals is something that I have always practised."

6/9

Piya Valecha

"I have learnt a lot from our national hero Mahatma Gandhi. Truth and honesty are two things that I have incorporated in my life. Gandhiji showed us that truth alone triumphs and this is evident from a lot of his real-life stories. He led a life seeking truth. Let the change be within you, learn to forgive and you don’t need to fight by raising your voice. These are a few things that I teach myself every day."

7/9

Arun Mandola

"I have always believed in bura mat dekho, bura mat suno, bura mat kaho. I have read Gandhiji’s biography too and there is so much depth in his thoughts, life, actions and journey. He was a visionary. I have learnt to be foresighted from him. I also move ahead in life with proper goal setting."

8/9

Waseem Mushtaq

"Gandhiji believed that India could get freedom through non-violence and he worked towards that. His passion towards his goals is what I have imbibed and applied in my life too. My constant belief that I could be an actor and my passion towards my goal has helped me reach here today. So I feel that if you believe in something, you can achieve it. That's what I have learnt from him."

9/9

Anupama Solanki

"Gandhiji fought for the nation with full determination and patience. He was a very practical and goal-oriented person. His determination and persistence to achieve your goals is what I have followed in life. His picture on our Indian currency keeps him alive in our minds always. Gandhi’s positivity has always appealed to me. He fought for freedom with great determination."
