For these TV celebrities, their career and family life is more important than thinking about remarriage. Shweta Tiwari, recently spoke to BT that she doesn’t believe in the institution of marriage. Like Shweta, who is a mother of two kids, there are many other single celeb moms, for whom marriage is not a priority. Take a look:

Shweta Tiwari, who is mother to Reyansh and Palak, recently spoke to BT exclusively about her thoughts on the institution of marriage. After going through two difficult marriages with Raja Choudhary and Abhinav Kohli, Shweta said, “I don’t believe in the institution of marriage. In fact, I even tell my daughter not to get married. It’s her life and I don’t dictate to her how to lead it, but I want her to think well before taking the plunge. Just because you are in a relationship, it doesn’t have to culminate into marriage. Life mein shaadi karna bahut zaoori hai aur shaadi ke bina zindagi kaise chalegi yeh nahi hona chahiye.”

Kasautii Zindagii Kay's OG Komolika has been raising her two twin sons single-handedly. The actress married at the age of 17 and became a mother to twin boys when she was just 18. She parted ways with her husband after just a year and a half of their marriage and since then has been looking after her sons. While the actress was in a relationship with Anuj Sachdeva, she never felt the need to get married. The actress was last seen on TV in Naagin 6.

Navya fame Somya Seth is raising her son Ayden in the US all by herself. The actress saw tough times after her marriage with entrepreneur husband Arun Kapoor in 2017 went kaput after barely a year. The actress had hinted of being in an abusive marriage and a victim of physical violence. She picked up the pieces, fought for her son and over the years that she has now become a real estate agent in the US.

Dalljiet Kaur, who is raising her son Jaydon, shares glimpses and anecdotes of her single parenting journey on social media. While Dalljiet and ex-husband Shaleen may have made their peace with each other, the former separated on grounds of domestic violence. Jaydon has been Dalljiet’s priority since the beginning.

Deepshikha Nagpal, who is currently seen in, Na Umra Ki Seema Ho, is single handedly bringing up two teenage kids Vedhika, Vivaan. The actress had two failed marriages with - Jeet Upendra and Keshav Arora.

Achint Kaur, who rose to fame with Jamai Raja, is a single mother to her son, Preetranjan. The actress got married when she was 18. But the couple parted ways due to compatibility issues. Her son was 5-6 years old at the time of her divorce and since then she has been taking care of her son. Achint was also in a live-in relationship with actor and host Mohan Kapoor for 16 years but the two split a few years ago.
