The joys of motherhood are unparalleled. While raising a kid isn't easy even with a partner, there are some popular television actresses who are doing it all on their own. Their relationships might have not worked out, but they are doing everything to ensure it doesn't affect their child. On the occasion of Mother's day, let's take a look at single moms of TV.

Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen finally decided to part ways last year. The couple's on and off relationship had become quite the talk but they have been living separately for a while now. Even though Rajeev meets daughter Ziana often, the baby girl is being raised by Charu. The actress often talks about the struggles of being a working single mom in her vlogs but she is doing a fine job of it.

Shweta Tiwari is mother to two kids, Palak Tiwari and Reyansh. While Palak is Shweta's daughter from her first marriage with Raja Choudhary, Reyansh is from her second one with Abhinav Kohli. It's been a long time that the actress has been raising both the kids single-handedly. Palak has entered the world of films with Salman Khan's Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and is pretty much on her own financially. Meanwhile, little Reyansh accompanies his mommy to the sets of her TV shows.

In March this year, Shubhang Atre confirmed to BT that she has been living separately from her husband since last one year. The couple, who has been married for 19 years, has decided to end their marriage due to irreconcilable differences. The two have a daughter, Ashi, who is now living with Shubhangi. The mother-daughter duo holiday together. Shubhangi even penned a special note for her daughter on daughter's day last year which read, "I am so glad that God gave me the best gift he could give me, you. You have been my rock, my shoulder to cry on, a smile when I feel down, a voice of reason and a smile when no one else will."

Juhi Parmar is a doting mother to daughter Samaira who was born in 2013. The actress was married to actor Sachin Shroff but due to compatibility issues, they parted ways in 2018. While Sachin remarried earlier this year, Juhi continues to look after their daughter and is bringing her up single-handedly. She is more a friend to Samaira than a mother.

Urvashi Dholakia hasn't had it easy in life. The actress, who rose to fame with the role of Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, got married at 17 and became a mother to twin boys when she was just 18/ She parted ways with her husband pretty soon, and has been the sole bread-winner for the family. Urvashi is a doting mom to Kshitij and Sagar, and loves to shoot cool videos with them for Instagram.

Sakshi Tanwar may not have tied the knot but it didn't stop her from adopting a baby girl in 2018 much like Bollywood actress and beauty queen, Sushmita Sen. Sakshi is a single mother to her adopted daughter, Dityaa Tanwar. The actress is raising her baby on her own with the support of her family. She only once spoke about raising her daughter single-handedly and said that it's exactly what other parents go through and she is no different.

Chahahtt Khanna's first marriage with Bharat Narsinghan in 2006 did not last long. The actress accused him of physically abusing her. Chahatt then tied the knot with Farhan Mirza in 2013 with whom she has two daughters - Zohar and Amaira. Unfortunately, her second marriage too failed to work and the actress levelled several accusations against him including that of sexual and mental harassment. She filed for divorce in 2018. Chahatt is now raising the babies on her own.

Trouble in Nisha Rawal and Karan Mehra's marital life came as a shock to fans who believed in their happily ever after. In June, 2021, Nisha filed a case against Karan accusing him of domestic abuse and having an extramarital affair. Their separation and divorce battle got bitter by the day.
