From shopping together to revealing their son's name: Special moments of Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar with their baby boy Ruhaan

The new parents Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim have been enjoying their parenthood to the fullest. They became parents on 21st June 2023, and ever since then, their life has been filled with joy. Like other actors Dipika and Shoaib also share pictures from their special moments and festivals which they celebrated after the birth of Ruhaan. From Shoaib Ibrahim celebrating Eid with Ruhaan for the first time to Dipika Kakar celebrating her first birthday with her baby boy.

After the Dipika had celebrated Shoaib’s birthday together the actress went into labour and was rushed to the hospital during the night. After giving birth to their first baby Shoaib had shared a heartwarming picture with Dipika while they began their journey of parenthood. They captioned the post, ‘21-06-2023 & The parenthood journey begins.”

In June after Dipika delivered her baby boy the entire family celebrated Eid together in the hospital along with the newborn who was in NICU under observation. Shoaib had shared pictures from the hospital as everyone had gotten ready for Eid and celebrated with mommy Dipika who was resting in the hospital after the C-section. Shoaib had stated in his vlogs that ‘Chotu’ aka Ruhaan is the best Eidi Dipika could ever give him. He says, “Dipika gave me the biggest Eidi this year as our Chotu, now what will I give her.”

Dipika who was in hospital for a period of time as her baby boy was under observation in NICU due to being a premature baby. After being discharged from the hospital and bringing Ruhaan home Dipika was seen getting emotional in her vlog. She shared, “I am very very happy. Bahut sukoon hai because we are finally home. I have a different glow on my face. Even though I haven’t slept a bit, there’s a glow on my face. I am so sleep-deprived and so is Shoaib. But there’s sukoon on our face. After coming home the happiest part was, he is so blessed to have so many loved ones around him. The way everyone was waiting for him. I am sure every family must be going through same set of emotions. As a mother, when you see everybody is so happy. I am overwhelmed with all the emotions after holding strong for so long. Also, he is very lucky as we keep saying that we are blessed for all the blessings and prayer you all have showered on him. As a mother, I can say thank you. All this wouldn’t have been possible your husband’s support.”

Dipika shared a picture on her Instagram along with Shoaib and Ruhaan as their baby boy turned a month old. She had thanked everyone for always keeping him in their prayers. She shared picture while kissing Ruhaan’s hand as they celebrated his one-month birthday. She wrote, “RUHAAN Thank you for keeping him in your prayers#amonthalready #blessed #alhumdullilah”,

In one of their vlogs, Dipika revealed the name of their baby boy along with her family. Dipika stated that they had named their boy Ruhaan as all of them were seen holding each letter in front of the camera. The entire house was decorated and everyone looked excited in the video. Even fans expressed their joy and said that they loved the name.

During his QnA with the fans on Instagram, a fans asked Shoaib about his fatherhood experience. Shoaib spoke about his sleepless nights and how he has been getting used to it. He said, “Abhi toh shuruwat hai. Sleepless night, pyari si cry ki aadat padd rahi hai” (This is just the beginning. Getting used to sleepless night and a sweet cry)”

Shoaib shared a video of Dipika dancing with tiny Ruhaan in her arms. She looks stunning in a yellow printed suit and a white dupatta. It was one of the most touching moments Shoaib shared on Instagram for all his fans. He wrote, “Nothing better than watching the purest form of love."

Dipika was seen talking about her first birthday celebration with after Ruhaan’s birth and how she is feeling as a new mother. Dipika stated, “This is the first birthday when I didn’t keep saying throughout ‘it’s my birthday’. I usually keep doing it 4-5 days prior to my birthday. This birthday I was busy changing diapers. We are now parents and with our child, we feel complete. It’s a special feeling to see him taking care of Ruhaan and all of us together as a family. Everything is worth it. I have waited for this moment for long to be with my child. I wanted to be that old school mom. I said this in an interview also that I want to be how my mom was to me. And this entire phase I am spending with a lot of sukoon.”

Recently in the vlog Shoaib and Dipika had one out together with their son Ruhaan as they were seen shopping together. This was the first time they took their baby outside for shopping and they looked very cute as s family together. While Shoaib was holding Ruhaan, Dipika was seen picking onesies and clothes for her baby boy in the video.

On Raksha Bandhan, Shoaib and Dipika along with the family and their baby boy Ruhaan celebrated the festival. The couple were seen getting ready together at their house and were seen headed toward their parent's house for the celebration with others. In the video, Ruhaan was seen laughing a lot which amazed everyone.

In one of Shoaib’s vlogs, the actor shared a funny incident where his son Ruhaan peed on his phone a few days back which made them laugh a lot. In the vlog, Dipika stated that her son proved that he is definitely like her after the incident.
