From Shoaib Ibrahim holding baby boy for the first time to his first Rakhi: Dipika Kakar shares Ruhaan’s special moments from his 3 months journey

Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim recently introduced Ruhaan’s face in their latest vlog and fans couldn’t get over it. She further shared a vlog on her channel where she shared the journey of her baby boy and some special moments which they celebrated with their baby boy and family. Dipika shared the clip of her meeting Ruhaan for the first time in the ward to Ruhaan looking a lot like his aunt Saba Ibrahim.

Dipika reveals that she is very happy that finally her fans got to see Ruhaan’s face and thanks her fans for blessing her baby and lots of love in the comments. She further added that there is Quraan Khani at her house and they are all ready for it. She further added that until the praying is done Ruhaan would be with his grandmother. She further shows us her new house hall as it's all decked up for the Quraan reading. The actress further makes banana halwa, especially for her sister-in-law Saba who has also come for the Quraan reading.

In between the vlog, Dipika shows us how Shoaib was having an adorable moment with his son Ruhaan before they started with the Quraan reading. It made our hearts melt after we saw the father-son duo bonding with each other.

Well, after the Quraan reading was over, Dipika stated in the video that she felt that one of the first few pictures that they shared on Instagram with Ruhaan reminded them of Saba’s face. She revealed to Shoaib earlier that she thinks Ruhaan looks a lot like his Bua (Saba) in this particular picture. Saba states, “Everyone is telling me this that he looks like me. Everyone started messaging me that he surely looked like his Bua.” Dipika added, “ The one photo which I had shared, I felt that he actually looked like you Saba. I even told Shaoib that in the picture we posted he surely looks like his Bua.”

I will be sharing some special moments from Ruhaan’s 3 months journey with us and how they turned out to be the best ones for the entire family. Dipika says, “Honesty I feel that three months have passed so quickly, time has just flown and I feel that Ruhaan has grown up so big. I shortlisted pictures from the past 3 months which I thought I would share with you in the vlog. And we have shared from the beginning but I don’t have pictures from the NICU.”

Dipika added that she would share pictures from the beginning but unfortunately, she doesn’t have pictures from NICU as she wasn’t allowed to take pictures or videos at that time. However, she definitely has the video of the first day when he came to her ward from the NICU and she got to hold him for the first time. Dipika mentioned, “The first day that he came to me in my ward, the 8th of July it was Rehaan’s birthday and Shoaib was on the shoot as he had no holiday as he wanted off the next two days. Therefore, in the morning I had brought Ruhaan to my ward. At this point, my heart was so thankful that my baby was finally with me and healthy. The first thing I did was video-called Shoaib and we felt different emotions as our son finally shifted from the NICU to my ward. And the doctors had suggested that once the baby is out from the NICU we will keep the baby under observation for 24 hours(2 days) so that the baby and mother both are familiar with the environment. After that, it was me and my baby in the ward and I took lots of photo sessions.”

After Ruhaan was out of the NICU and brought to Dipika’s ward room the same night, Dipika revealed that Shoaib had come to the hospital and it was the first time he had taken Ruhaan in his arms. Dipika revealed, “In the night, for the first time after Shoaib arrived he took Ruhaan in his hands for the first time as I used to go inside the NICU and I used to get the chance to pick up Ruhaan in his arms. I had also told you earlier that on Eid I had got my big Eidi as for the first time I took Ruhaan in my arms and hugged him tightly. So this is the first moment when Ruhaan’s father takes him in his arms for the first time.”

Dipika further shared more pictures from the next day after Ruhaan came out of the NICU. In some pictures, he was seen sleeping peacefully in his hospital crib. She also shared one of her favourite pictures where she was seen pecking a kiss on Ruhaan’s nose as she held him closely towards her face.

Dipika was all smiles when she shared about the moment when the doctors finally told them that they could take their son Ruhaan back home. Dipika added, “And then the 10th of July when finally the doctors agreed to let me take Ruhaan to our house. Ruhaan was all ready and sleeping in his new blue colour carrier and we all were ready to finally go back home.”

Dipika added that everyone was eagerly waiting for them to arrive home with the baby boy Ruhaan. She said, “And then how everyone was eagerly waiting at the house to welcome Ruhaan and we had shared the picture of his homecoming on Instagram. Initially, we were staying at Saba’s house as our flat was under construction. There was lots of paint smell.”

Dipika further shared in the vlog that Ruhaan has a specific sleeping position which is one of his favourites. She said, “Ruhaan has got a specific sleeping position, he always loves to sleep on me, like the KMC position and even I find it very adorable that he is sleeping on me. Not just me he likes to sleep on Shoaib’s chest also. And Shoaib also loves this feeling.”

Dipika shared a picture of Ruhaan while she had taken him for his first vaccination. Dipika added, “This is the picture when he took Ruhaan for his first vaccination. I had shared earlier too that I am very grateful for Ruhaan being blessed with a lot of love from all of you. And also as a family, I feel very happy that Ruhaan is getting so much love from everyone.”

Dipika further shared a picture of Ruhaan with his Nana who held him for the very first time. She further shared pictures of her grandmothers holding Ruhaan and playing with Ruhaan as they had come to Saba’s house. In the end, she shared some cute pictures of Ruhaan and his dad Shoaib while they were sleeping together. She also shared pictures from the Rakhi celebrations and stated that he looked very cute. And the last picture Dipika was seen showering love on Ruhaan while he was asleep.
