Bharti is the highest paid celeb in Laughter Chefs

According to reports, Bharti Singh was the highest-paid celebrity in Laughter Chefs season 1, earning Rs. 10-12 lakhs every episode. The large sum says volumes about her importance and standing in the industry. It's amazing to see Bharti Singh continuing to land new projects, especially because she is also a devoted mother who always fulfils her motherly responsibilities. Not only that, but Bharti's journey out of poverty and into a better life for her family is one that everyone should hear.

A quick trivia

Bharti Singh was born on July 3, 1984, in Amritsar, to a middle-class family. Unfortunately, her father died when she was barely two years old, and her family fell into poverty. Following the death of her father, Bharti's mother raised her and two other children, Dhiraj and Pinky, on her alone. To support her children, Bharti's mother, Kamla Singh, worked as a maid and even cleaned toilets.

Bharti and her family's struggle

It was a painful time for Kamla Singh and her three children because she had to feed them with other people's leftovers. Bharti and her siblings grew up working in a factory, stitching blankets. In an earlier interview with a top news source, Bharti Singh described the terrible experience of her mother bringing leftovers from the family where she worked as a maid. The comic explained that someone else's leftovers were new nourishment for her family. She shared, "Mummy doosron ke ghar kaam karti thi main baithi rehti thi. Toilet saaf karti thi. Phir wo sabzi bachi rehti thi to bolte the le jaana bach gayi hai. Unki baasi sabzi hamari fresh ho jaati thi. Hamara poora din ban jaata tha."

Sudesh Lehri spotted her talent

Only a few are aware that used to conduct a lot of auditions at NCC camps. During one of her auditions at the NCC Camps, legendary comedian Sudesh Lehri recognised her talent and placed her in a play. It was a huge break for Bharti since it offered her the much-needed opportunity to demonstrate her unique talent. Following this, Bharti's talent was discovered by Kapil Sharma, who was so delighted with her abilities that he encouraged her to audition for The Great India Laughter Challenge. She was chosen for the show and placed as the second runner-up.

When Bharti said she was 60rs ka bacha

Bharti Singh spoke openly about her life challenges and how she never bothers anyone. The comedian revealed an amazing narrative about it, which demonstrates her mother, Kamla Singh's, strength. The comedian revealed that her mother delivered her as a child alone. Recalling the experience, Bharti stated that her mother hired a lady to cut the umbilical cord and paid her Rs. 60. She said: "Mai ne bola tha mai kisi ko tang nahi karugi kyunki mai ne apni mummy ko dekha tha. Unhone tang nai kra kyunki mai meri mummy ka khud ka paida kiya hua bacha hoon. Vo akeli thi, bas vo cord katne ke liye dai ko bulaya tha jisne 60 rupay liye the. Toh mai 60 Rs ka bacha hoon."

Her luxurious

Bharti Singh is one of the richest comedians in the country, with an estimated net worth of Rs. 30 crore. Bharti lives in a beautiful home apparently worth Rs. 6 crore and owns a collection of exotic cars such as the Audi Q5, Mercedes Benz GL-350, and BMW X7. However, none of it came easily for the ace comic. Whether we talk about her personal struggles in India's male-dominated comedy scene or how she brought her family out of poverty.
