From reuniting with former Taarak Shailesh Lodha to visiting historical sites; Taarak Mehta's Sonalika Joshi's exhilarating family trip to Rajasthan

Taarak Mehta Ka Chashmah's Madhavi Bhide aka Sonalika Joshi recently took a break from the show and went for a family trip to Rajasthan. The actress took to her Instagram handle to share the pictures and videos from the trip, as they enjoyed the picturesque forts, palaces and sand dunes.

Sonalika posted a video of them sitting in a jeep and enjoying the sand dunes in Jaisalmer. She captured the warm sand canvas in her video with the camels around. As she wrapped shooting, she said, 'what an experience, superb'. Her desert safari added more memories to her trip.

Sonalika captured the serene lakeside in Jodhpur as they took a walk around the historical forts and palaces. The actress even shared a picture of the interiors as she posed for a click.

Sonalika shared a post as she reunited with the OG Taarak from the show Shailesh Lodha. Sonalika and her family spent an evening catching up with the old pal in Jodhpur. She even met Shailesh Lodha's close friends and family in the city and was extremely impressed by his hospitality. Shailesh even thanked Sonalika for her kind words, 'Gratitude for these words and feelings.'

Sonalika penned a heartfelt caption for Shailesh Lodha as she attempted to write in Hindi for him. She wrote, "जोधपुर मैं मेरे सहकलाकार श्री शैलेश लोढ़ाजी से मिलने का संयोग हुआ (उनके बारे में उन्हिकी भाषामें लिखने का प्रयास)श्री शैलेशजी जिनके ऊपर साक्षात सरस्वतीमाता का आशीर्वाद हैं ,हिन्दी भाषा का प्रभुत्व और अखंड घना मित्र परिवार इससे उनकी रईसी नज़र आती हैं जिसके प्रति उनकी कृतज्ञता भी प्रतीत होती हैं. शैलेशजी और उनके मित्र परिवार का आदरसत्कार काबिल ए तारिफ़ हैं ,हमारी जोधपुर यात्रा यादगार बनाने इन सबका बहुत बडा सहयोग हैं यह कहना ग़लत नहीं होगा. मैं और मेरे पति श्री समीर आप सबका आभार व्यक्त करते हैं." Which translates to, " In Jodhpur, I met my colleague Mr Shailesh Lodhaji (attempt to write his languages about him) Mr Shaileshji, is truly blessed by Saraswati Mata, his command of the Hindi language and his unbroken friendships this shows how he is extremely rich in terms of bonds and also shows his gratitude towards them. Shaileshji and his friends and family's hospitality is commendable. It would not be wrong to say that they have a huge support to make our Jodhpur trip memorable. Me and my husband Mr. Sameer thank you all."

Sonalika and her husband Sameer went for a hike to the Jodhpur Fort. The Fort is enormous and has some amusing sites to visit, the duo went for a special outing and shared pictures as they posed at the historical spaces.
