TV's famous hosts share their intriguing journeys on TKSS

The latest episode of The Kapil Sharma Show invited the evergreen hosts of all time, Parizad Kolah, Renuka Shahane, Mini Mathur, Deepti Bhatnagar and Richa Aniruddh. Kapil shares a special bond with Parizad as they began their careers together with the same show.

Kapil Sharma and Parizad Kolah share a special bond from the Laughter Challenge days

Kapil shares a special bond with Parizad, "I have known Parizad since our Laughter Challenge days. When I was a participant in the show she was expecting a baby and she became a mother to a little girl." Parizad added, "She is here today, she has grown up to be a 15-year-old teenager now." Kapil was quite astonished to see her and remembers the journey. He then asked her to recreate how she used to invite Navjot Singh Sidhu on the stage to tease Archana Puran Singh. Parizad also shared, "I am so proud of Kapil, I used to introduce Kapil as a contestant and today he introduced me as a host. I am really happy to see him here."

Richa Aniruddh's association with TV anchoring and Radio

Kapil Sharma shared that Richa had interviewed him in his initial days. Richa shared how proud she was looking at Kapil's journey. Talking about her journey, Richa shared, "It is an interesting tale, I was selected for Radio and when I was going to join them I got a call from a news channel in 2002. But later, I was destined to do Radio so I got a chance in 2014 to be back on Radio and since then I am all happy to be on Radio."

​I joined the medical school for just two days: Mini Mathur

Mini Mathur wanted to become a doctor and also studied science but the first week in the medical college changed her vision, she shared, "I had joined Medical college for two days, I was very keen on becoming a doctor. But when I went to the medical school and saw how the operation was done within the first week I left it. As I realised I wouldn't be able to do all this as a doctor."

​I worked for a newspaper for Rs 1500: Richa Aniruddh

Talking about the odd jobs Richa did initially, she shared, "I have done a lot of odd jobs, those were the days when computer courses were booming so I got a job to fool the parents into enrolling their kids in such courses. Then I did a job of getting payments from big organizations. I also worked for a newspaper for Rs 1500 in those days."

​My craft business is still continued by my sisters: Deepti Bhatnagar

I come from Meerut and I had done a lot of such odd jobs back then. I was very young when I started with the craft work which is now handled by my sisters. I went to a jeweller and pitched that I can make packaging material for him and he gave me my first order of 2000 purses. I started off with that and it is still a successful business. I became Miss India after that, did modelling in Singapore and then Yatra happened. I have travelled to more than 90 countries.

​My mother handles an orphanage at the age of 87 years: Deepti Bhatnagar

I started an NGO for 1500 dogs during the pandemic. I feed them, take care of them and give them shelter. I have learnt this from my mother, she has been handling an orphanage for 30 years in Mathura. She earns her own money and she is 87 years old, she hasn't ever asked for a single penny from me or my sisters.

​I got to KBC just to watch Amitabh Bachchan: Richa Aniruddh

Richa Aniruddh shared her experience of being an expert on Kaun Banega Crorepati. She shared, "If I didn't know the answer then I will tell so that the contestant wouldn't lose because of me. If I know then I have also told 100% yes to it. For me, being a part of KBC was only for Amitabh Ji. I came for the show just to talk to him and see him." Kapil jokes, "Richa is a brand ambassador of Amitabh Ji's Sooryavansham."

​Archana Puran Singh refused the hot seat of Kaun Banega Crorepati

Kapil asked Archana whether she was invited to KBC, and she shared, "Yes I was invited during Comedy Circus but I refused because I felt that I am not good with General Knowledge. I might make a fool of myself on the hot seat so I said no to the offer." Kapil then shared, "I had also gone with Sonu Sood and won Rs 50 Lakhs."

More than film offers, I got marriage proposals after Hum Aapke Hain Koun: Renuka Shahane

Kapil asked Renuka Shahane about her film Hum Aapke Hain Koun, did she receive more film offers or marriage proposals? Renuka shared, "I used to get so many marriage proposals, everyone wanted to make me their brother's wife as they were so impressed seeing me as an ideal bhabhi in the film."

Kapil asked Renuka about the iconic fall in the film, whether she was nervous or had any injury. Renuka shared, "To climb the ladder of success one should take such falls. Sooraj ji was more tensed than me. I had to act like I was getting hurt. Actually, the stairs were made of a sponge, so I had to act instead of actually getting hurt."

Kapil shared how Big B encouraged him

After listening to Richa Aniruddh's life lessons, Kapil shared an anecdote about Amitabh Bachchan. He said, "There was a corporate event back in those days where I had to perform and after my performance, Bachchan Sahab was going to inaugurate something. So when Big B came all the bouncers got alert. I got nervous, I was about to leave and Bachchan Sahab told the event manager, 'Please keep quiet, let him complete his performance.'
