Death hoax of Ramayan's Raavan

There were reports about Ramayan actor Arvind Trivedi's death. The news made his family members upset. Quashing the rumour, his nephew Kaustabh wrote, "Dear all my uncle Arvind Trivedi Lankesh is all good and safe. Stop spreading fake news. It is a request. Now please spread this. Thanks." Entertainment industry hopes to resume film and TV shoots by June end

If the situation improves, shoots of films and TV shows will resume by the end of June. This was discussed during a video-conference on Monday evening, held between the Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees (FWICE) and the Cine Indian Television Artistes Association (CINTAA). BN Tiwari, president, FWICE, says, “We hope to resume shoots, but with guidelines in place. For example, every worker will be given four masks per shift (12 hours), along with social distancing and sanitisation being made compulsory. We will appoint a supervisor, who will be paid by the producer, on every set to ensure that the rules are followed. We have also demanded separate washrooms for men and women.”(Photo: Instagram)

TV celebs express shock over Vizag gas leak

The incident of styrene gas leak from a chemical plant in Visakhapatnam on Thursday, May 7, took the lives of 11 and resulted in over 5000 falling sick The news shook the entire nation. Many TV celebs took to social media to express their shock and are extremely saddened by the incident. Jay Bhanushali wrote: "Shocked to see #VizagGasLeak videos..what is happening in this world condolences to the family members who have lost there there dear ones in this chemical leak..looks like the world will never be the same like before. Kapil Sharma condones people thronging to liquor shops

On May 4, the ban on liquor shops was lifted and people formed long queues to buy alcohol. Upon seeing this that the citizens aren't maintaining social distancing, Kapil Sharma got extremely furious. Sambhavna Seth on being hospitalised due to ear infection

Sambhavna Seth was hospitalised due to ear infection. However, her experience with the hospital staff wasn't great amid the ongoing pandemic. She was refused treatment by top hospitals. In an interview with ETimes TV, the Bigg Boss fame said that she thought it was the end of her life due to severe pain, and drop in pressure. Sambhavna Seth further added, "My experience taught me that shayad hum COVID-19 se baad mein marenge, but baaki serious health issues se pehle. What if you have an elderly person at home, who needs immediate medical help? I know that COVID-19 warriors are working relentlessly, but there are other health woes that could need immediate attention, too. Indian Idol 11 judge Neha Kakkar has ranked second in the list of 'Most viewed artist on YouTube'. She ranks second followed by Cardi B. Next in order are artists - Karol G, BLACKPINK, Ariana Grande, Marila Mendonca, Billie Eilish, Nicki Minaj, Becky J and Selena Gomez. Devoleena Bhattacharjee dismisses reports of her cook testing corona positive

Saath Nibhaana Saathiya fame Devoleena Bhattacharjee's building has been sealed after a person was found coronavirus positive. In an exclusive conversation with ETimes TV, the actress confirmed the news of her building being declared contaminated, but dismissed reports of her cook being tested COVID-19 positive. Devoleena shared, "Yes, it is true that my building has been sealed. But my cook is absolutely fine so far. She has not been tested positive. I don't know why people write fake news. The cook who worked in the house of that person (who was tested positive) also used to work in my house, but she is fine. She has gone into self-quarantine like me for the next 14 days." Shivin Narang hospitalised

Beyhadh 2 actor Shivin Narang was hospitalised after accidentally falling on a glass table, which broke into pieces. Due to which, he got injured and lost a lot of blood. This is the second accident Shivin has met with in the past five months. On January 1, he was admitted to the same hospital after he suffered a hairline fracture — again on his left hand — on the sets of 'Beyhadh 2'. Pak TV show host apologises after joking about Irrfan, Sridevi's demise

Pakistan TV anchor Liaquat Husain, in one of his shows disgracefully joked about how actors with whom Adnan Siddiqui worked outside of Pakistan, died. The TV host, later, apologised by saying, "Sometimes you lose control over your words. That happens in a live show. At the time it didn't seem like a big issue but when I later thought about I realised that was not appropriate. So I'm really sorry. Keeping humanity in mind, this should not have been said.
