From partying with a Russian man for money to confessing love for Munawar Faruqui on Lock Upp: A look at Anjali Arora's controversial love life

Lock Upp fame Anjali Arora, who also enjoys huge popularity on social media, has had quite a controversial love life. The 'Kacha Badam' fame actress made some shocking revelations on the OTT show and also hid her relationship while confessing love to Munawar Faruqui in Lock Upp.

On the show, one of the most shocking revelations by Anjali was from her trip to Russia. She said, "In December I went to Russia and I was single. I was attracted to the receptionist of my hotel and I took 5000 rubles ( ₹2,737) from him for Saturday night. I just wanted money and I asked for it and he gave it to me and then at night we went to party together. None of my friends know about it. I don't know how my parents will react to it." On the game show, Anjali didn't shy away from confessing her feelings for Munawar Faruqui. They looked after each other and were seen together for most part. In one of the episodes, Anjali told him, "I love you." This made Munawar smile and say, "Tere dimag ke doctor ko bulata hoon." She replied, "I need it."

There were many who believed Anjali and Munawar's indulging in romantic talks to be a gimmick. However, Anjali denied it outrightly. She told ETimes TV, "I have shown all my emotions inside the house. I did not fake at any level of the game. When I accepted having feelings for Munawar, I did not back track. I stayed firm on it. Mujhe jhoot bol kar kya milta… I don’t care what others will think about me. I strongly believe if you are real, people will love you no matter what. Anjali did not choose to talk about her boyfriend Aakash Sansanwal in the house of Bigg Boss. But she is now often snapped with him. There was a certain section which believed they were engaged but Anjali clarified in an interview to BT, "Aakash is very special to me, and we have a strong bond. He definitely has a special place in my heart, but we aren’t engaged."

Post Lock Upp, Anjali met with Aakash's family. The two have introduced each other to their families. Right after coming out of Kangana's jail, she told us exclusively, "I enjoyed the last entire week with my family which included Aakash and his family also as they are my family.
