TV fame actress Ankita Lokhande, was allegedly replaced by Shweta Tiwari on Comedy Circus in 2011. Reports suggest she used to come late to the set, which affected her performance. This hampered the show’s quality and started affecting TRP ratings. Accordingly, the makers sacked her due to uncooperative and unprofessional behaviour. Karan Singh Grover who was the male lead in the famous show Qubool Hai was reportedly let go due to his unprofessional behaviour. A source told BT that he had a track record of being unprofessional since his Dill Mill Gayye days. On the sets of Qubool Hai, Karan allegedly came late or skipped shoots altogether. Drashti Dhami, who won Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6, was chosen as host for the seventh season but was allegedly replaced. Reports say her pairing with Ranvir Shorey did not click with the audience. The decision came after negative feedback and low TRPs following the premiere. She was brought in to add glamour to the show after her big win. Splitsvilla fame Rishabh Sinha was part of the show Qubool Hai, who played the role of Ayaan Ahmed Khan. His looks and acting earned him a lot of love from fans. However, he was replaced by Vikrant Massey after issues with the producers. Reports say Rishabh behaved unusually on sets and also signed another show at the same time. Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal who played the infamous character, Mrs. Roshan Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. She allegedly didn’t inform the producers about her pregnancy. Upon learning this she was removed from the show and later, Dilkhush Reporter replaced her in the role. Jennifer re-joined however rejoined the show in 2016 but left it for good in 2023. Paras Kalnawat was part of one of India’s most popular shows, Anupamaa. He played Samar, the son of the lead character Anupamaa (Rupali Ganguly). Fans loved him and praised his performance; however, he was later removed from the show. The reason was said to be a breach of contract, as Paras had allegedly signed Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 on a rival channel.
