From Munawar Faruqui being attacked with eggs to Mandira Bedi slamming surgery rumours; Top TV news of the week

An extremely eventful week adds some shocking revelations. Munawar Faruqui was attacked with eggs by a group of men during his visit to Mohammed Ali Road. Bigg Boss 17 winner then took to his Instagram handle to post a clarification about the incident. Apart from that, Kapil Sharma Show fame Sugandha Mishra also shared her experience on leaving her daughter's home to perform at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding bash in Jamnagar.

Jennifer Mistry who played Mrs Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah revealed that she is facing a serious family crisis, while talking to ETimes TV, she shared, “I am going to my home town as my younger sister, who is a special needs person, is on a ventilator and I have to be with her.”

She also said, “After my younger brother passed away I had the responsibility of seven girls of my maayka and around that time the Asit Modi episode happened. It is tough to manage everything.”

The brassware brand P-Tal took to their Instagram handle to share that they are sending cheques back to the sharks. And a P-TAL product especially handcrafted by them. After all, this truly is the wealth that our artisans possess! We are extremely grateful to Shark Tank India, the sharks, our team and all of you for always supporting us.”

In a recent interview, Raghu Ram opened up about how Roadies affected his marriage and mental health, he said, "I was done. I was fed up. I walked away at the peak of it for two reasons. One was because the channel wanted to make the show a certain way, which I did not agree with. Till 10 seasons, I had pretty much a free hand. But in the 9th-10th seasons, I found myself coming into conflict with the channel, because they wanted a certain populist kind of angle to it. The second thing that was happening was, personally, my life was going through a lot of upheavals because of Roadies and because of the surrounding craze. My marriage was suffering. Ultimately, I got divorced."

Sonarika Bhadoria exclusively talks to ETimes TV about her marriage with Vikas Parashar, she said, "Firstly, we keep talking about this very often that it doesn't feel like we're married. Abhi tak woh feeling hi nahi aarahi hai. I think it's not hit us as yet we've also been together for so long now. And the other day I went to dinner at my maasi's place and my maasa ji said that ‘tum logon ko dekh lagta hi nahi hai tum shaadi shuda couple ho’. I'm happy and I just hope that sort of keeps on going on forever."

Munawar Faruqui's recent visit to Mohammed Ali Road on Ramadan's penultimate day took an unexpected turn, resulting in chaos and controversy. In a viral video, some people tossed eggs at the Bigg Boss 17 winner. The stand-up comedian, clearly irritated, responded to the situation. Munawar went live on his Instagram handle and said, "Jo do dukaandar the, unke beech mein fight chal gayi thi. Toh tumhara bhai thoda bhadak gaya tha unn chacha log ko dekh ke. Apne ko kaun maarega. Main thik hoon. Mereko kisine anda vagaira nahi maara. Woh chacha the unko lag gaya aur ek officer wahan the unko bhi ek anda lag gaya. Woh dukaandaron ke beech mein bahut jealousy hoti hai. Competitors jalte hai ek dusre se. Agar apne se koi jalte hai toh woh apne competitors hai hi nahi."

Sugandha and hubby Sanket performed at Anant Radhika's pre-wedding in Jamnagar, while sharing the experience she said, “So I was told that there is a show in Jamnagar. The big fat pre wedding. So we got a call for that. Now I told him (Sanket) to talk to them and go alone. I told him that I don't want to go. The baby should have at least one parent. She is still very young. He said, ‘It's okay. Just calm down. You have given her 3 months completely. There will be nothing wrong in going for a day. Just calm down. Relax.’ And he forced me to go. And when I went on stage for the first time. I mean first time after being a mom. I went on stage, I saw my people, my audience. That was euphoric. I held the mic in my hand and I was so nervous that I thought I won't be able to do it. There was so much of gap and I thought if I will be able to do it on stage, if I will have that confidence. That moment was a bit shaky. Then slowly I got rid of the stage fright.”

In an exclusive conversation with ETimes TV, Tanuj Virwani opened up about being cordial with his exes, he said, “I am all for being friends with exes as long as it is healthy, there's no toxicity and it's platonic. Because you know at the end of the day we are a sum total of all the people we meet and the experiences that we go through. So I find it very hypocritical that one day you scream from the rooftop saying oh I love you and you are the world and I'm nothing without you and the next day break up and then you become toxic with your partner. So I don't like that. Of course, I mean it's easier said than done. It takes a lot of work. I also believe that there needs to be a cooling period because there're so many heightened emotions when two people are in an intense relationship and then they break up.”

Following the enormous success of the season premiere and season 2, the digital edition of Bigg Boss OTT is poised to return for season 3. The show is set to launch next month, in May. The tentative premiere date is May 15. Little is known about the show. However, there are rumours of negotiations with a number of well-known people in talks with the makers.

Mandira Bedi's recent post sparked speculations of the actress undergoing surgery. Which led to constant trolling, Mandira then took to her Instagram handle to share another post as a befitting reply to the netizens. In the video, Mandira was seen showing herself from all angles possible with the song 'kuch toh log kahenge'. She then captioned, 'No need for more scrutiny or guess work.. I have given you all angles.. for your hypothesis. p.s it’s spelt FILTER not FILLER.'
