Priyanka began her journey by hosting events and shows in her early days while she was searching for that one opportunity to enter into showbiz.

Change her name from Pari to Priyanka

Priyanka was earlier known as Pari. Later, according to her numerologist, she changed her name from Pari to Priyanka in 2019. The actress comes from a family of Army background and has grown up taking care of her siblings. She spoke about her over-caring nature in Bigg Boss 16, which she claimed was due to the way she was brought up by her family.

Priyanka started her career with modelling and did a few music videos in Punjab. She became a popular face in the Punjabi music industry and bagged music videos including Online, Mai Bewafaa, Hanju and so on.

After her flourishing career in Punjab, the actress made her debut on television with the show Gathbandhan, starring Abrar Qazi and Shruti Sharma in the lead role. Later, she went on to do episodic in Savdhaan India and also web projects.

Priyanka became famous after her cameo as Kittu in Yeh Hai Chahatein. The show became a turning point for the actress. Her career witnessed a major change after the show.

Priyanka bagged her first lead in Sargun Mehta and Ravi Dubey's Udaariyaan. She gained massive popularity with the show and her character Tejo. Priyanka left the show since she refused to age in the show and chose to enter the controversial reality show with her co-star Ankit Gupta.

Priyanka and Ankit entered the show as best friends, but viewers have often noticed her claiming that she has one-sided feelings for the actor.
