From getting hospitalised after weaning off Ruhaan to delay in liver tumour removal surgery: Shoaib Ibrahim gives an update about Dipika Kakar’s health
Television actor Shoaib Ibrahim has opened up about his wife Dipika Kakar’s ongoing health struggles. In a heartfelt update, he shared details of Dipika’s condition, the delays in her surgery, and how their son Ruhaan has been adjusting during this challenging time.
“Dipika’s surgery is still pending”
Shoaib gave a health update and said, “I wasn’t able to give an update previously as I was busy. Dipika’s surgery is still pending and we are looking forward to it. Dipika took a few tests last time when we visited the hospital and ever since then, Dipika has started to wean off Ruhaan.”
“Dipika fell sick after she stopped breastfeeding Ruhaan”
Dipika started weaning off Ruhaan after we got done with all the tests. We were then supposed to visit the hospital for the surgery. However, Dipika fell ill and started to have high fever. Her temperature was more than 103. Moreover, she suffered from extreme body ache. “We delayed the surgery as Dipika fell extremely unwell”
The doctors gave her several medicines but nothing was working. We then took her to the hospital and her body temperature is now turning normal. The tests and surgeries got delayed because of all this. We were supposed to do it on Monday but because of the fever and condition we couldn’t do it.
“The tumour needs to be removed”
Finally, the tests are done that the doctor has asked. After the tests, we will get to know what exactly needs to be done. As I mentioned earlier, there’s a tumour in her body and that needs to be removed as well. The surgery will mostly be done next week once the remaining tests are done.
“We are really stressed about Ruhaan”
We are really stressed about Ruhaan. However, the good thing is that Dipika started to wean off since we got to know about the liver tumour. Ruhaan has understood many things and is not troubling Dipika.

I won’t be able to update every day and I apologise for not being able to update in the past few days. I know everyone is praying a lot and I’ve faith in God that everything will soon be alright.
