From entering Bigg Boss 15 together to taking legal action against each other; a look at Rakhi Sawant and ex husband Ritesh Pandey's controversial relationship

Rakhi Sawant’s marriage and separation with her estranged husband Ritesh had stirred up headlines and became one of the most controversial events in the industry. Recently, they were in news after Rakhi filed a complaint against Ritesh and accused him of hacking her social media accounts. The controversy queen Rakhi Sawant tied the knot a few years ago and shared pictures on social media. It was during Bigg Boss 15 when Rakhi introduced Ritesh as her husband. He received a grand welcome from Rakhi on the show.

On Valentine's Day, Rakhi announced her separation from Ritesh. Sharing a long note on Instagram, she wrote, "Dear fans and well wishers, Just wanted to say that Ritesh and I have decided to part ways. After the Bigg Boss show, a lot has happened and I was unaware of certain things which were out of my control. We have tried to work out our differences and tried to make things work but I think it's best we both move on amicably and we both enjoy our lives separately. I'm really sad and heartbroken this had to happen before Valentine's day but the decision had to be made. I wish Ritesh the best in life but for me at this stage in life I have to focus on my work and my life and keep myself happy and healthy. Thank you for understanding and supporting me always! - Rakhi Sawant."

Rakhi had a tattoo of Ritesh's name. Two months after her separation with him, she got the tattoo removed. Sharing the video on social media, Rakhi said, "3 saal shaadi ke.. Ritesh tum permanently meri zindagi se aur meri body se nikal gaye ho".

Recently, Rakhi went to Oshiwara police station along with her boyfriend, Adil Khan Durrani after her social media accounts got hacked. She filed a complaint against Ritesh and accused him of hacking her social media accounts. As per the latest updates, Rakhi told ETimesTV that Ritesh has returned her accounts and she will take back the police complaint she lodged against him. On the other hand, Ritesh denied the allegations and called them 'baseless'.

After Ritesh's serious allegations, Rakhi told ETimes TV exclusively that he was lying. "And let me tell you the jewellery he gave me is fake. I went to a jeweler to sell it off when I needed money for my mother's on-going treatment. I was laughed at. I was told that it is not real gold. Woh zevar mere paas abhi tak hain. Chandi ke zevar par sone ka paani lagaya gaya hai."

Ritesh compared Rakhi to his first wife Snigdha and said that they treated him similarly. To this, Rakhi replied. "Then the fault must be lying in him na? He must be abusing and hitting women. He used to throw food and often keep saying that he was leaving. He used to abuse me. I used to keep holding his feet and pleading him to stay". She further said, "Usne mujhe char baar room mein se dhakke maar kar nikala hai. He used to call me uneducated".

In an interview with BT, Ritesh shared that he spent crores of rupees on Rakhi. He even said that the actress started accusing him after he stopped spending money on her. He said, "Rakhi is lying. I have now realised that she was just using me for money. I had bought her jewellery which she claims is fake, but it is not. I have all the receipts from the jewellery store. I have bought so many things for her and when she demanded a Rs 90 lakh car from me, I refused. That's when she decided to leave me. And she started going out with this guy named Adil who bought her a second hand car!"

After making serious allegations against each other, both Rakhi and Ritesh have decided to face each other legally. While Ritesh decided to file a defamation case against Rakhi, the actress said that she is ready to face him legally.
