TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the most loved sitcoms of all times. However, the show has currently been making headlines after announcing that Kush Shah aka Goli has made an exit from the show. Over the years several popular actors left the show midway. Actress Disha Vakani is one of the most loved actors of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. She played the role of Dayaben in the show and left due to maternity. She did not return after her delivery and is spending time with her babies. Dilip Joshi, on the other hand, continues to entertain fans as Jethalal

Actress Jennifer Mistry played the role of Mrs. Sodhi, wife of Roshan Singh Sodhi. Gurucharan Singh, on the other hand, played the iconic role of Roshan Singh Sodhi. The OG duo were loved and appreciated for their chemistry in the show. They are remembered for their acting chops till date.

Tanuj Mahashabde plays Krishnan Subramaniam Iyer, a scientist from Chennai and the treasurer of Gokuldham Society, who has a friendly rivalry with Jethalal. Munmun Dutta portrays Babita Krishnan Iyer, Iyer's wife and Jethalal's secret crush, a former model from Kolkata who got married to Iyer. Both have been part of the show since the very start.

Actor Shailesh Lodha who played the role of Taarak Mehta in the show left the show and was seen hosting Waah Bhai Waah. Actress Neha Mehta, on the other hand, who played the role of Anjali Mehta in the show quit the show due to some issues with the production house. Fans enjoyed them as the OG Taarak and Anjali.

Mandar Chandwadkar portrays Aatmaram Tukaram Bhide, a tuition teacher from Ratnagiri and the sole secretary of Gokuldham Society. He runs "Bhide Tuition Classes" from his home and is married to Madhavi, with whom he has a daughter, Sonu. Sonalika Joshi plays Madhavi "Madhu" Bhide, a businesswoman who makes pickles and papad. Both have been part of the show since 2008.

Nirmal Soni played Dr. Hansraj Baldevraj Hathi, a doctor from North India, married to Komal and father to Goli, known for his catchphrase "sahi baat hai." Ambika Ranjankar portrays his wife, Komal. While Nirmal has been a part of the show till 2018, Komal has been a consistent presence since 2008.

Shyam Pathak as Patrakaar Popatlal "Popu/Popat" Pandey: Originating from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, he works as a senior crime reporter and digital edition head in the Toofan Express newspaper. He has been winning hearts ever since the very start.

The original Tapu Sena in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah consisted of Bhavya Gandhi as Tapu, who was later replaced by Raj Anadkat in the role. The group also included Kush Shah as Goli, Jheel Mehta as Sonu, and Nidhi Bhanushali (later Sonalika Joshi) as Sonu. Samay Shah and Azhar Sheikh continue to play the role of Gogi and Pinky respectively. These child actors formed the core group of young characters in the show, contributing significantly to its charm and appeal during its initial years.

Ghanashyam Nayak portrayed Natwarlal "Nattu" Prabhashankar Undhaiwala, Jethalal's loyal but quirky accounts manager at Gada Electronic. After Nayak's death, Kiran Bhatt replaced him as Nattu in 2022. Tanmay Vekaria, who initially played various characters, later became Bagheshwar "Bagha" Daddu Undhaiwala, Nattu's nephew and Jetha's employee, engaged to Bawri.

Amit Bhatt portrays Champaklal Jayantilal Gada, who is Jethalal's father, Daya's father-in-law, and Tapu's grandfather. He comes from Bhachau, Gujarat, and frequently imparts moral lessons to Jethalal and other members of the society. He has been a part of the show since 2008.
