When Daya Gada observed that'makhan' (butter) had disappeared from all of the'matkis' (pots), the entertainment quotient skyrocketed. The highlight was the Dahi Handi celebration, during which no group was able to shatter the handi until a young boy stepped forward to try. This tiny boy's name was Shree Krishna.

The latest Janmashtami festival at Gokuldham Society won hearts yet again by demonstrating compassion and humanity. It was the moment when society members received a 'Iccha Purti Matki' (wish-fulfilling pot). That pot held the capacity to fulfil the desire of the person who shattered it, but in an act of humanity, the Gokuldham Society members handed the opportunity to a boy who was severely ill and on the point of death. This generous act of society members saved the boy's life.
