Asim Riaz recently made an exit from reality show Battleground. While, reports unveiled that he was removed from the show, the reality show star issued a clarification claiming that it was him who left the show and ‘kicked out’ the script. During the controversial episode, Asim Riaz questioned Rubina Dilaik’s role as a judge on the fitness-based reality show. During a heated argument, he said, “Aapki koi zarurat nahi hai show main, ye fitness ka show hai.” This remark was perceived as disrespectful by many, intensifying the on-set tensions.

Asim Riaz, popularly known for his Bigg Boss 13 stint has reportedly been removed from the reality show ‘Battleground.’ It happened after a heated altercation with co-judges Rubina Dilaik and Abhishek Malhan during a shoot on April 17. The confrontation escalated to the point where filming was stop, leading to Asim’s exit from the show.

Addressing reports of his removal from the reality show, Asim Riaz took to social media to refute claims of being “kicked out.” He stated, “Paid media ain’t got a spine, just a rate card. They print what they’re told, I move when I decide. Keep shouting ‘kicked out’, I kicked the script and flipped the game.”

Abhinav Shukla, Rubina Dilaik’s husband, criticized Asim Riaz for his comments towards his wife. He also called out Asim’s aggression on the show. He stated, “All jacked up muscle, no brain and bad attitude is not a sign of fitness.” He expressed concern over the disrespect shown towards his wife during the show’s proceedings.

In the aftermath of the controversy, Rubina Dilaik condemned the online abuse and death threats directed at her and her husband by some of Asim Riaz’s fans. She emphasized, “My silence is not my weakness,” while sharing screenshots of comments that she has received. She urged for respectful discourse and denouncing the harassment.

Responding to Abhinav Shukla’s criticisms and the subsequent backlash, Asim Riaz accused him of seeking sympathy, stating, “Four judges were having a real conversation... who even called you to jump in? Stop poking your nose everywhere trying to play the hero— this isn't some WhatsApp group drama. People like you only speak up when someone else's name brings you relevance. This wasn't your scene, but you forced an entry like you mattered. And stop fishing for sympathy off fake comments from fake IDs. This is the internet-anyone can type anything. Stand tall or stay silent. Now about fitness-only a man who's never lifted will cry 'steroids' when someone shows up built different. I built this body, this name, this attitude-brick by brick, rep by rep. You call it substances, I call it substance. I don't need sympathy-l need space to dominate and you Stay in your lane..” He dismissed the allegations and defended his stance regarding the events on ‘Battleground.’
