Nora Fatehi

Nora Fatehi started off her career as a contestant on dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. The actress faced a lot of struggles in every way when she came to India to built a career. However, she didn’t give up and worked very hard. The actress and dancer who started off as a contestant, later became a judge of the show. Nora was also seen on Bigg Boss 9 as well. Even though her journey was short lived in the show she managed to make a special place in netizens hearts.

Shiv Thakare


Shiv Thakare, who is currently impressing fans with his Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 journey, lived in slums and faced many financial issues when he was young. His career in the industry started with Roadies. There he opened up about helping his dad at his pan shop. He even revealed that he used sell milk packets and newspapers to support his family. He then started working as a dancer and earned Rs 10,000-20,000. Later, he was seen on Bigg Boss Marathi, which he won. Shiv also did Bigg Boss 16 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 13.

‘Basti Ka Hasti’ MC Stan has always said that he is proud to have risen from the basti (slums). He is making it great in the world or singing with his rap songs. The 23-year-old has seen financial issues growing up in life and has been pretty open about it. The rapper won reality show Bigg Boss 16 and took the trophy home. He is also known for his ‘Rs 80,000 ke jittne,’ Rs 1.5 crore locket in his neck and more.

Siddharth Bhardwaj

Siddharth Bhardwaj, known for his reality show journey, didn’t have it all easy as well. The actor came to Mumbai and worked in call centres. He has been open about his financial issues and that was one of the reasons why he participated in Splitsvilla. The actor won Splitsvilla and was later seen on Bigg Boss 5. The actor is currently in the United States working on his projects.

Social media sensation Uorfi Javed’s journey has been a tough one. The actress has been open about leaving her house at a young age and her parents not being supportive of her acting career. However, she came to Mumbai on her own and worked hard. Uorfi recently appeared on Bigg Boss OTT 2 where she revealed that she is the only earning member in her family of seven. The actress and social media influencer used her unique style to her advantage and made a big name for herself. In 2022, she was also one of the most searched Asian celebrities.

Even though Bigg Boss OTT 2 contestant Jad Hadid, is a successful model today, he has faced a lot of mental trauma while growing up. The reality show star was abandoned by his divorced parents when he was just 3-year-old. In one of the Bigg Boss episodes, he revealed being later by her parents at a young age.
