From Abdu Rozik postponing his wedding to Gulki Joshi refuting rumours of doing Maddam Sir 2; Top TV news of the week

The last week in the telly land has been extremely eventful. The adored and popular actor Abhishek Kumar got candid about saving up his money and getting inspired by Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta to open up his production house in future. While Jayati Bhatia came out in support of Heeramandi co-star Sharmin Segal for constantly being trolled. Further, Abdu Rozik postponed his wedding while Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are excited for their son Ruhaan's first birthday.

Vidisha Srivastava exclusively spoke to ETimes TV about her maternity and how she was trolled, she said, "I got mixed reactions for the photoshoot. There were lots of people who showered love on me but there were also people who criticised and trolled me. There are people who praise my bikini photos where my cleavage, stomach are visible and they were fine with it but in my maternity photoshoot because a bigger belly was visible, they wrote negative comments and trolled me. They wrote comments like “Kya zarurat thi Aise photoshoot karwani ki.. I never cared, today I’m back to my original shape and I know the moment I post a picture in a bikini, they will drop comments praising me. It’s their mentally and perception."

Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are all excited to celebrate their little munchkin Ruhaan's first birthday, Shoaib shared, “21st is Ruhaan’s birthday. I don't remember my birthday now. Because this time, I genuinely wish that I don't celebrate my birthday. Excitingly, it's over. And Ruhaan’s birthday too, we thought we'll celebrate it in a different way. The way we always do it, we won't do it that way. It's his first birthday. And on his first birthday, we're not going to have a grand party or anything like that. Because we believe that on his first birthday, the kids don't understand anything. And there's no point in calling a crowd and all that.”

Gulki Joshi exclusively updated to ETimes TV that she wasn't doing the new season of Maddam Sir, she said, "I don't particularly have a view on it. It is just that I kept getting news of the show returning with a new season and I have been approached for it. I was like yeh kya ho raha hai. I wasn't even asked about it, or maybe I agreed to it in my sleep and forgot. But nobody had approached me, the fans were getting excited and suddenly I was getting tagged a lot so I chose to tell the truth that I wasn't doing the show and I had no idea whether the new season was coming or not."

In an unexpected turn of events, Bigg Boss 16's Abdu Rozik has postponed his highly anticipated wedding, which was originally set for July 7th. The reason for this change is a significant career opportunity. Abdu has been offered his first-ever title boxing fight, scheduled for July 6th at the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai.

Abhishek Kumar who is set to leave his fans stunned with Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 exclusively spoke to ETimes TV sharing that he has been saving up, he said, "In fact, I have asked them to buy a house in Chandigarh but not in Mumbai. I’ve a family there so at least they can stay there. Here I don’t think main Yahan sambhal paaunga. I am saving my money for my future. Kabhi kuch need aajaye, kuch banana ho, Mujhe kuch create karna ho, Mera mind producing Yaa production house kholne ke taraf bhi jaata hai. Jayati Bhatia exclusively spoke to ETimes TV reacting to Sharmin Segal getting trolled, she said, "I feel the way Mr Sanjay Leela Bhansali signed me for Phatto’s role despite my image of Mataji from Sasural Simar Ka and visualised me in such a role, the same way he cast Sharmin for Alamzeb. He visualised me as Phatto and cast me for the role and he visualised Sharmin as Alamzeb, it is his vision. Joh unko Samajh mein aaya hoga, joh chahiye hoga unko in Alamzeb uski wajah se unhone Sharmin ko cast kiya. I feel I can’t question him for that because it is his vision as a director. She has already mentioned in her interviews that everyone had their way of doing the role and she wanted to portray Alamzeb as subtle as possible. If Sanjay sir found honesty in her eyes and he okayed all the shots then it is absolutely his call. We are nobody to question."

In an exclusive conversation with ETimes TV, Rohit shared whether his parents pressure him to start a family, he said, "I won’t call it pressure but my parents do have expectations. Because now what they want. My dad is retired and my mother is a housewife, they stay in Jaipur, so they expect me to start a family. But it did happen once when there was pressure on us. The expectation was converting into pressure but now we all are on the same page. They understand now that we want to take some time and want to achieve a few things in life. So now they don’t put any kind of pressure. They have left the decision on us and have told us that it’s your life, you decide when you want to have to start a family. There is no pressure at all."
