From a special Father's Day surprise for Shoaib Ibrahim to birthday shopping for Ruhaan; Dipika Kakar shares a glimpse of their preps and celebrations at home

Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim have kept the viewers glued to their vlogs, with the recent one, Dipika shared how they have been preparing for Ruhaan's birthday. Amid all the preparations, yet another celebration happens as she plans a sweet surprise for Shoaib for his first Father's Day with Ruhaan. Take a look at how they celebrated.

Dipika and Shoaib head to the mall to shop for Ruhaan. They go to the kids store to specially pick an outfit for Ruhaan as his birthday is coming closer. Ruhaan chooses his favourite t-shirt from the collection and also picks a cap for his dad. While they shop, Dipika and Shoaib ponder over buying the little shirts for their toddler.

Dipika then shares that she wanted to even shop for Shoaib but he wasn't excited about it. Shoaib shared, "All I remember is June 21st, now that I am a dad, my first priority is my son. And I want to celebrate his birthday more than mine."

At home, Dipika shares that her mother had gone back to Pune while they were on a trip to Mysore and Bengaluru. Now she has returned with bags full of gifts for Ruhaan. She got him pajamas, shorts sets, tshirts, blankets and a lot more. Ruhaan was extremely elated to have his Nani back. He couldn't stop adoring her with all the love.

Dipika and her brother-in-law Rehaan prepare a cute surprise for Shoaib. She gets customized caps for Ruhaan and Shoaib while Rehaan wrote a card with 'Happy Father's Day' on Ruhaan's behalf. Dipika then made her little munchkin wear the cap and give the card to Shoaib. Ruhaan couldn't stop saying papa all the time till Shoaib carried him.

Shoaib's mother, aunts and cousins were busy getting the mehndi done for Bakri Eid. All of them went for the pretty designs while Dipika shared, "I was feeling unwell, and now I am under the weather. So again this time I won't fill my hands with mehndi but put a minimal design with Shoaib's name." She even quickly washed it as she had to feed Ruhaan.

Dipika then talks about Father's Day, "There are many times that fathers aren't that expressive about their love. This year it was extremely special for me as it is Shoaib's officially first fathers' day. Last year, Ruhaan came to us on 8th July and on 9th when we woke up Ruhaan was with us. That day Shoaib was a little hesitant on how to hold the little baby to now they have their fixed papa baby time. Where he would sleep on Shoaib's shoulder, listen to stories, poems and all. It is very adorable to see that."

Dipika further said, "Yes, this one is officially Shoaib's first father's day but he has played the role of a father in Saba's life. She had also mentioned this in Jhalak, 'Ruhaan ke papa bhale abhi bane hai, but he has been playing the role of a father figure in her life for years. He has been there for Rehaan, and everyone. He stood like a rock support for Saba, Rehaan and everyone and took up the responsibilities after papa fell ill. He made sure that he supported Saba. When I see Rehaan and Shoaib, I feel that when Ruhaan will grow up he will also be like them. I am very proud of Shoaib on how he has nurtured them."
