Farah Khan calls her Celebrity Masterchef judging experience the ‘most grueling’
Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan recently visited celebrity chef Harpal Singh Sokhi’s home for her cooking vlog, where the two shared a fun and candid conversation about their cooking show experiences. Watching Chef Harpal’s precision in the kitchen, Farah couldn’t help but ask if he felt obsessive about cooking while working on Laughter Chefs.
Harpal laughed and shared, “There, the contestants would get very interesting elements to cook. They were tough too. And no one practiced beforehand. So during the shoot, you had to guide all the seven cooking stations at once. And no one would listen — it was complete madness.”
Farah then opened up about her own journey as a judge on Celebrity Masterchef, recalling how intense and demanding the process was. She said, “My experience was the exact opposite. For seven days, the contestants would just practice endlessly. I have done so many shows in my life, but this was the most grueling experience ever. Masterchef jitna grueling show nahi kiya hai.”
Farah Khan is one of Bollywood’s most celebrated choreographers and directors, known for blockbuster films like Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om, and Happy New Year. She has also choreographed countless iconic Bollywood songs, earning her a reputation as one of the most influential figures in the industry.
Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi, on the other hand, is a popular Indian chef and television personality, widely recognized for his lively hosting style and expertise in Indian cuisine. He has been part of numerous cooking shows, bringing his signature energy and humor to the screen.
Their fun interaction offered fans a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes chaos and dedication that goes into making cooking-based reality shows, highlighting just how challenging and rewarding these experiences can be.
