Exclusive - 'The 50' contestant Archana Gautam on why the show is mentally more demanding than her past reality projects; says “This format feels closest to real life”

What immediately drew her to The 50 was its scale and unpredictability. “Having 50 contestants together completely changes the energy of the game. It’s not a comfort-zone show at all; you're constantly pushed to adapt, stay alert, and think on your feet. There’s no space to relax,” she shares. For Archana, it’s this constant pressure and unpredictability that makes the show exciting and mentally stimulating.
The actress feels The 50 is very different from other reality shows which usually rely on emotional drama, According to her 'The 50' is focusses on mental strength, physical fitness, and discipline. She finds the show's format fresh and exciting.
She explains that while her past shows tested her in different ways, this one feels closer to real life. “It’s about balance, staying strong, focused, and consistent even under pressure,” she says.
