Exclusive - Rajjo fame actress Celesti Bairagey: Every role is an opportunity to grow

Actress Celesti Bairagey, who has been part of the show Rajjo as well as web shows like Amber Girls School, says that she looks at every new opportunity to grow. The actress feels that it is important to be open to criticism in order to flourish in your craft.

“I believe in learning. Every role is an opportunity to grow, be it my role as Rajjo or Ojaswini. So, I dive deep into each character, experiment with new techniques, and always stay curious. Workshops, observing life around me, and staying open to inspiration from unexpected places keep my craft evolving,” she says.

Ask her how she stays updated with industry trends and opportunities, and she says, “I’m always tuned into what’s happening in the industry—whether it's new OTT releases, emerging filmmakers, or trending genres. Social media is a great tool for that, but I also rely on networking, reading up on the latest, and watching a variety of content to stay ahead of the curve.”

Talking about branching out into other areas of the entertainment industry such as direction, writing and production, she says, “I find the idea of branching out incredibly exciting! I think Exploring directing, writing, or producing lets one tell stories from different angles. It’s a natural progression in a creative journey, and I’m eager to dive into those areas when the right opportunity comes along and when I'm ready for it.”

Earlier while talking to ETimes TV, she had shared, "Acting may appear glamorous and effortless from the outside, but it's a profession that demands immense dedication, hard work, and emotional resilience. One of the lesser-known aspects is the constant pressure to perform and the vulnerability that comes with it. Actors often have to tap into their deepest emotions, which can be emotionally taxing. There's also the challenge of maintaining consistency and authenticity in every performance, despite external distractions or personal issues."
