Looking back at TV days

It's not that I have left my work, but a year back I met with an accident and I had to undergo knee surgery. Since then my work has paused and I do miss my work a lot. (Photo: Instagram)

Would you return on TV?

Of course, I would want to go back to my field as I started with that and I love doing it. Acting is my passion. I would never leave that. TikTok offers me a great platform and I love keeping my fans entertained with the help of it. (Photo: Instagram)

Objective behind creating such videos?

A little over three years ago, I came across this platform. I started to upload videos on it and my fans really liked them. It’s really cool to be able to make fun videos and I’m glad for it. The love and support of my fans keeps me going. (Photo: Instagram)

Message you want to impart to society:

We all have to be responsible towards a fan and pass on the right messages. I’m passionate about so many areas such as women empowerment, safety measures particularly during this time of the lockdown. In fact, we have been doing our bit by telling our fans to Stay at Home. There is a lot of informational content available on COVID-19 by credible sources such as WHO and what we must all do during the quarantine period. (Photo: Instagram)

6/12

How do you maintain your relationship with fans?

I love my fans and I call them my ‘fam’. They are the reason I started making videos and it is really nice to hear from them and feel the love. I love my #Aashikians, they are the best. (Photo: Instagram)

On dating Roshan Gupta

(Laughs) We aren't dating but we are really close to each other. He is important to me. (Photo: Instagram)

8/12

After doing many shows, film with Salman Khan, why did you go missing from the scene?

As I mentioned earlier, a year back I met with an accident and I had to undergo knee surgery. Since then my work has been paused and I do miss my work a lot. (Photo: Instagram)

Message you want to give fans on body shaming

Always remember that each one of us is beautiful just the way we are. Nobody can take that away from you or say anything. Best is to ignore such people for your peace of mind. So, just be happy and remember 'you are beautiful just the way you are'. (Photo: Instagram)

On leg surgery

It's much better but sometimes it pains like hell. I hope to bounce back soon! (Photo: Instagram)

11/12

How challenging is it to create content?

My approach is to look at whatever is trending or whatever my fam likes, I create videos accordingly. My goal is to keep my fans happy and entertained and TikTok allows me to do that in a fun way. I owe a lot to this community for keeping me going. (Photo: Instagram)

On when TikTok was taken down

I was upset and I used to read the news all the time. During that time, the TikTok community continued to thrive and we continued to make videos for our fans. Those days went by fast and here we are, interacting with our fans and making entertaining videos for them.(Photo: Instagram)
