Exclusive - Malti Chahar on entering Bigg Boss 19 as wildcard, finding Amaal Mallik and Shehbaz Badeshah entertaining and brother Deepak Chahar's reaction

Actress and model Malti Chahar recently spoke about her exciting entry into Bigg Boss 19 as a wildcard contestant. In an exclusive chat with Times of India TV, she shared her impressions of fellow housemates Amaal Mallik and Shehbaz Badeshah, whom she finds particularly entertaining, and also revealed her brother Deepak Chahar’s reaction to her stepping into the popular reality show. On joining Bigg Boss 19

I am really excited and happy. Everyone's eyes are going to be on me. I’m fully aware of this challenge, and I’ve given it a lot of thought. In fact, I see it as an advantage because I already know everyone. Usually, when someone new enters, it takes them a couple of weeks to get familiar and connect with others. But in my case, I already have that familiarity, the twist is, they don’t really know me. That creates a bit of mystery around me. Of course, there’s a possibility they might not accept me right away, but that’s the real test, how well I can blend in and make them feel at ease within a week. I’m confident and prepared for it. Once you watch the show, you’ll see what I bring to the table. (Photo; Instagram)

Amaal and Shehbaz are more entertaining

Honestly speaking, Amaal and Shehbaz are more entertaining, they are part of that so-called “bully group.” You have Shahbaz there, Amaal too, he’s got the talent to sing, Shehbaz cracks jokes, and keeps things lively. Shehbaz, on the other hand, is great with his one-liners. So overall, they are naturally more entertaining. (Photo; Instagram)

Abhishek and gang seem a bit low-spirited right now

As for Abhishek and gang, they are good people, but I feel they could do much better instead of just staying upset about things. I get it, every week they face nominations, and someone from their side keeps getting evicted. On top of that, they are often criticized during the weekend episodes. That must be demoralizing, and I think that is why they seem a bit low-spirited right now. (Photo; Instagram)

Pranit More is genuinely a good guy and he is not playing a negative game

Pranit More usually avoids fights. But when someone told him to “go back to your village,”, he stood up for himself. I need to speak up on this, because I was born and raised in a village myself. He is genuinely a good guy. He is not playing a negative game, nor has he said anything wrong. Yet now, people in the house are trying to put him down, labeling him as a bad person. Everyone seems to be saying the same thing, even though his behavior doesn’t justify that. If you actually look at his actions, there’s nothing wrong, people are just targeting him for other reasons. Tanya is quite clever

I really enjoy the way Tanya is playing. If you observe closely, her game is quite clever. She doesn’t jump into fights but keeps making comments about others and yes, woh badi badi pehkti bhi rehti hai (she also tends to exaggerate a bit for fun). She is showing off in a way that adds good entertainment value. Overall, Tanya’s game is smart, engaging, and never disrespectful. (Photo; Instagram)

My dad watched Shweta Tiwari's season

My dad had watched Shweta Tiwari’s season of Bigg Boss, so initially, I wasn’t interested in doing the show. You know how it is — when the season begins, casting calls start going out to several people, asking if they’d like to participate. I kept saying no because of the show’s controversial nature. But my dad was keen on me doing it since he had enjoyed Shweta’s season. When I finally told my family that I had said yes to Bigg Boss, they were thrilled. (Photo; Instagram)

On brother Deepak Chahar's reaction on her participation in BB

Later, when my dad started watching Bigg Boss 19 and saw all the arguments and fights, he called me saying he was getting a bit worried. Still, they are all very happy and supportive. As for Deepak, his reaction was straightforward, he told me to go for it, be graceful, and stand my ground. My dad even says I look graceful when I argue, so he’s been motivating me: “Go ahead and fight, people will like you for it.” (Photo; Instagram)
