Exclusive! Kritika Singh Yadav gears up for her new show, Dharam Patni

Actress Kritika Singh Yadav, who was last seen in the show Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha, is gearing up for her next. She will play the lead role in the upcoming show Dharam Patni. She is excited about playing Pratiksha in the show.Talking about her character, she says, "I auditioned for this role and that's how I bagged it. I will be playing Pratiksha and she is someone who is really sweet, cute and kind- hearted. She is always ready to help others and lives with her chacha and chachi (uncle and aunt) because her parents are no more. The kindness and helping nature that she has is something I relate to."Kritika came to Mumbai two years ago and is enjoying her journey so far. She says, "I hail from Bhopal, but I was living in Pune to complete my graduation. That's when I got selected for a South film and I shot for it. After that, I decided to come to Mumbai and pursue acting because this is what I always wanted to do. I came here in 2020 and since then, I have kept getting work. I am glad that I have been able to reach this point in such a short span of time with my luck and hard work." Living alone in Mumbai has been tough for the actress, but she is liking too. Kritika says, "Living alone without parents is not easy. I miss them. But it also teaches you a lot. I was a very underconfident girl when I came here, but over a period of time, with the kind of experiences and learnings, I have become very confident. I am enjoying this journey and feel grateful for it."
