Kannada television audiences are in for a grand cinematic treat with the World Television Premiere of the much-anticipated historical action drama Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1. The film will air exclusively on Zee Kannada on January 24 at 7 PM, promising viewers a grand cinematic experience rooted in culture, faith and folklore.A prequel to the blockbuster Kantara, Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1 is set in 4th Century CE India and traces the origin of the mystical forest land known as Kantara. The film features a strong ensemble cast led by Rishab Shetty, who delivers a compelling dual performance as Berme and Mayakara. Rukmini Vasanth plays Princess Kanakavathi, while Jayaram appears as King Rajashekara, father to Kulashekara and Kanakavathi.
