She said, "There were rumours about the show going off air but we thought it was just a rumour because the show had just started. It was just days back when we got a termination letter. Obviously felt bad. My main work was supposed to start after Durga came back to the Delhi house. In fact, I had started shooting on a regular basis in December only and suddenly the show was going off air. I would say that it was a short and sweet journey."
She continued, "Till date all my shows, had a great run and I had a fabulous time connecting with my audience and entertaining them with whatever role I played. However being a devotee of lord Krishna, I believe everything happens for a reason. My duty is to work leaving the stress of results on him, which I always follow in my life. I'm sure that there are some beautiful plans and opportunities stored. And the New Year's are here so I'm happy and looking forward to a new journey."

She shared, "I'm in Guwahati, it's my hometown. My parents are here. So I will enjoy some family time. But I had to come here for a music video, also that kept my mind away from the sad news of the show going off air! because after a long time, I shot a very beautiful Assamese romantic song with Ravi Sarma. I'm really looking forward for the song to release soon."
She concluded adding, "I'm returning back to Mumbai and will be celebrating New Year's here. And also I'm not planning to take a break from work. As I'm willing to take a new role and keep myself happily occupied enjoying my profession."

She made her Bollywood debut with Saas Bahu aur Sensex essaying the role of Shona Urvashi, with a full-fledged role in the year 2008, and later she played important roles in Kurbaan, Force and Chalo Dilli.
