Exclusive - Bigg Boss OTT contestant Neha Bhasin on staying inside the house: Have had many fallouts in my life due to my outspoken nature

Jag Ghoomiya and Swag Se Swagat fame singer Neha Bhasin is one of the confirmed contestants of Bigg Boss OTT, hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar. The singer spoke to ETimes TV before her entry and shared that she felt that she was ready for the show and the time was right. She further spoke about how because of her outspoken nature she has had many fallouts. However, she has worked on herself over the years. Neha revealed that she is emotionally very reliant on her husband and called him her support system which she is going to miss inside the house. The singer is very excited to showcase her vibrant, fun, and fashionable side to the viewers through her outfits which she is going to take inside the BB house.

I have a little anxiety that I am leaving my comfort zone and family and going inside the show. I would say Punjabi mein kehte hain jab insaan ki Matt maari jaati hai woh sab chod chaad ke sanyaas leta hai, I am getting that feeling.

A few things like this year I had a meeting with the people and I liked the vibe. Secondly, we have seen the first and second wave of the pandemic and it has been very devastating for the entire country. Also, because of the pandemic our live shows have reduced and it fitted my schedule very well this year. Then I also thought that the show is watched by all the Indians world over and they give the contestants so much love so why am I depriving myself of that love. This was the key point for me to say yes. Of course, I know that the decision can turn against me, but that also depends on myself. If I am a negative person then after the show it will become clear and I’ll have to work on myself. I feel I am a positive person and I felt the time was absolutely right to do the show. I never thought I would do it.

I have faced a lot of problems in life because of my outspoken nature. I have had a lot of fallout but down the line I’ve worked on myself. Like I know I am outspoken and now I’ve learnt how to say it. I’ve brought this change in myself. But I also strongly feel that everything doesn’t depend on you, how evolved the other person is also that matters. Also, we will be living in a confined space and everybody will go through different mood swings. I hope I can deal with it in a better way and don’t lose my sanity. Because when you watch people fighting and doing weird things on the show, you feel bad and say “arre isko Kya hogaya hai pagal toh nahi hogaye”. I hope I am not one of those people where the audience feels that I am gone mad.

I am comfortable but it is not my favourite thing to do in the house. I like giving orders to people (laughs). But I think I’ll manage and I won’t have fights. Right now, I’ve injured my leg, so I won’t be able to stand for too long or walk in the house. I will chop and cut vegetables.

I am not comfortable sharing things with others. It’s been quite a while now and I’ve been used to living a luxurious life. It is going to be a bit of a nightmare and I am not even going to mince my words. We are not going to stay at a hotel in Bali (laughs). It’s like staying in a hostel which I’ve never been to. But I’ve shared the house and bathroom with the Viva girls, my first reality show when I was in the group. So it can be ok sometimes and not ok also.

Not just in my profession but I am used to being with my husband in everything that I do. I come across as a very strong personality on camera but I am a kid at heart. I am emotionally very reliant on him and my family and my husband. They treat me like a kid. He is very supportive, loving and mentally he helps me a lot. It is going to be a very big setback for me. With him not being around my support system would be taken away. Especially when I get angry I talk to him and he calms me down before I spoil things. He balances me out.

My strength is that I am a very real person and with me everybody knows I can’t fake. Whatever I am, you will get to see. The contestants don't need to fear as I don’t play mind games. I mostly do what I think and this can also work against me in the game.

I am taking with me a lot of outfits and I will look my fashionable best. That is something I am looking forward to. In fact, every time I would do my trail I would get so happy. I will try my best to dress up well and enjoy the fashionable side of myself. End of the day the entire world would be watching me. And I hope to look good.
