Baisakhi, a spring harvest festival celebrated by Sikhs, symbolizes their new year, and holds immense religious significance, particularly in Northern India. Occurring annually on the 13th or 14th of April according to the Nanakshahi calendar, it unites communities in jubilant festivities.

Talking about the festival, actor Aman Gandhi from Bhagya Lakshmi, shared his views on the importance and celebration of this auspicious occasion.




Aman Gandhi who essays the role of Ayush in Bhagya Lakshmi said, “Since my relocation to Mumbai, I haven't had the opportunity to celebrate Baisakhi in the grand manner I used to back in Delhi. Fond memories flood my mind, recalling how all family members would gather to visit the Gurudwara, seeking blessings from Wahe Guru. We would joyfully engage in seva within the Gurudwara premises before partaking in the prasada at the langar. The vibrant spirit of Baisakhi extended beyond familial celebrations; every society in Delhi resonated with enthusiasm, marked by the rhythmic beats of dhol-nagada and lively bhangra performances. I miss being around my family during these festivals a lot. I wish everyone a very Happy Baisakhi, I hope you celebrate it with your loved ones.”

Aman shares a close bond with his co-stars Rohit Suchanti from the show. They often indulge in friendly cricket matches on the sets during their free time. The actor is quite active on social media as well and keeps his fans updated about his day-to-day activities.
