Exclusive - Angad Hasija on playing Yash Vardhan in Tumm Se Tumm Tak: “You Will Get To See Alekh Rajvansh After Years”
Actor Angad Hasija is all set to bring a new emotional layer to Tumm Se Tumm Tak as Yash Vardhan in Prateek Sharma's show. The actor reveals that the character reminds him of one of the most loved phases of his career and promises viewers an emotional and spiritual journey ahead.
Talking about his role, Angad shared, “The character is somewhere connected to me as it’s like Alekh Rajvansh of Sapna Babul Ka... Bidaai and after so many years I am doing something which I did in my first show and people will definitely like it a lot.”
He further opened up about Yash Vardhan's emotional graph and how the audience will gradually connect with him. “Definitely audiences are attached to Anu and Arya and people will also connect with Yash Vardhan. He doesn’t remember anything and doesn’t even know if he has a family or not but the soul connection will be shown a lot,” he said.
Sharing a glimpse into the upcoming track, the actor added, “In the upcoming episodes, you will see the connection between a mother and her son, and there will be a spiritual calling. Yash will always wonder why he feels so attached to them.”
Angad, who was last seen in Suman Indori, admitted that joining an already successful show comes with its own pressure. “Yes pressure is there as it’s a hit show and I am actually excited to do the scenes with Sharad. I have known him for more than 10 years but have never worked together. He is an amazing actor and working with him is a great opportunity for me,” he shared.
The actor also expressed his admiration for senior actress Vandana Pathak, who plays his mother in the show. “I have been seeing her since childhood and I am blessed to work with such a great team and production and learn from them,” he said.
Opening up about audience expectations, Angad added, “Yes pressure is there as you often wonder how the audience will accept, but I am confident and I hope people will appreciate it.”
Reflecting on his long journey in the industry, the actor concluded, “It’s been 18 years since I started working, and I have played many different characters. You will get to see Alekh Rajvansh after years.”
