Exclusive: Ace of Space winner Divya Agarwal reveals the real reason behind her tiff with Vikas Gupta – He would play mind games and I would get negative vibes

Ace of Space winner Divya Agarwal and beau Varun Sood are not on talking terms with the host of show Vikas Gupta. Varun was also a part of the show. Recently, Varun in a live chat informed that they have been nominated in some random awards. Now, things escalated as fans of Divya and Varun went all out to vote for them. It was then learnt that the award was organised by Vikas Gupta and he keeps doing such awards to promote his talents. Divya and Varun broke ties with him last year. Recently, some awards was organised online. So Vikas keeps organising these awards online and gives it to his people. He put our names in the nominations and our fans also go crazy. ‘OMG OMG, Divya-Varun are in the nominations’. They do all the campaigns. And later, Vikas awards it to his known people. But our fans really go all out on social media and they get disheartened. So to clear out all this, Varun came live to tell them not to take it seriously, there’s no such awards. Pic: Instagram

I have been watching him closely and consistently, even when I was with Priyank (Sharma) and now when I am with Varun. It has been one year we completely broke ties with him. My reason was different. I was about to appear for Ace of Space 2. He made me wait for 12 hours. I had dengue. He told the channel that ‘Divya is not feeling well, so she went back’. He would lie time to time and make you wait on purpose. He also wanted me to make an entry with Chetna (Pandey) in AOS 2. It used to irritate me. He would think of promoting his talents everytime. He wouldn’t ask channel or production. He will do what he feels like. This has been going on for past two years. I would let it go. I thought to myself that I have Varun beside me, so just let it go. He also had a problem on Varun and I signed a song together. (For the uninitiated, Varun and Divya appeared in a romantic single – Naam Ada Likhna) He was like, ‘Yeh label nahi hai, kaisa gaana hai, why are you doing this’. For Varun and me, we were doing it because we liked it. But he wanted, everything to go according to him. He would call us ‘Friends’. But where does the controlling part comes in ‘friendship’? When I entered Ace of Space, the first point that triggered was ‘Priyank angle’. I remember, some screenshots of Benafsha were posted through my phone when I was inside the house. Vikas and another friend came inside the house and took me out of my room (in Ace of Space). He told me that my mother is worried and to share those screenshots. Since I couldn’t speak to my mother, I told him to do whatever is right so that my mother is fine. Later, after coming out the house I got to know that Vikas forced my manager to post them. My mother told me she didn't do all of this and she thought I wanted this. SO clearly, Vikas was lying. He also had our social media account passwords. He forcefully took everything. He was playing mind games the entire time. During the Diwali episode, I had chosen the gifts from my parents. There were both the options but I chose the gift. Initially, Vikas thought that I will choose the open letter. When I didn't, he made me choose the open letter from Priyank. He wanted me to talk about Priyank for the show. And obviously, when I talk about something that has hurt me in my life, I can go overboard. I always speak out about whatever is happening. Vikas knew this fact that if Divya starts speaking about Priyank she will go on and on. That’s what happened in the show, right? Ever since, we broke all our ties with him, things are so sorted.
