Elvish Yadav and Jiya Shankar are not engaged; the duo to host a dating reality show together
Jiya Shankar’s personal life has recently grabbed attention due to multiple dating rumours. The actress was first linked to engagement speculations with Abhishek Malhan, and later, a photo of her with a mystery man went viral, adding more fuel to the buzz. Now, the actress has once again made headlines after Elvish Yadav shared a photo of himself holding a girl’s hand with a diamond ring on it and tagged Jiya Shankar. The photo sparked strong rumours of an engagement announcement. The story shared on the Bigg Boss OTT winner's account carried the caption, “Gave love another chance and I found my heart,” which further hinted that the two may be engaged. However, as per sources to the celebrities, Elvish and Jiya are not engaged and they are apparently doing a new show together.
Sources close to the duo informed us that Elvish and Jiya are not engaged and neither are they dating. The two stars are doing a dating reality show and the speculations about the engagement are just a part of the promotions. Jiya and Elvish are doing the second season of 'Engaged Roka Ya Dhoka' together. The first season was hosted by Harsh Gujral and Uorfi Javed.
Engaged Roka Ya Dhokha first premiered in 2025. The series revolves around Gen-Z contestants who test their compatibility and communication as they try to move from “situationships” to serious, committed relationships. Sifat Sehgal and Karan Raj were the winners of the first season.
Not just Jiya, Elvish has also been linked with a few of his co-stars. A few weeks ago, the social media star was rumoured to be dating Jannat Zubair. However, later it was clarified that it was a part of their new music album.
For the uninitiated, Jiya and Elvish will be working for the second time together. Earlier, they were a part of Bigg Boss OTT season 2 and shared a good bond.
On the work front, Jiya has been a part of a few music videos after her hit Marathi film Ved. ELvish Yadav is currently doing Laughter Chefs season 3 and is paired with Karan Kundrra. They were the winners of the second season.
