It has been more than 3 years since Disha Vakani went on maternity leave, and never returned. Her character of Dayaben is a unique one and is extremely loved by the audience. Reports about her return keep cropping up almost every time, and the producers have to come onboard to clarify it. The show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is one of the longest-running shows on the small screens. Hina Khan started her career from this daily soap as Akshara. After working for eight years on the show, Hina quit the show, stating that she needs to focus on different avenues and expand her horizons than just being a "bahu". Vivian Dsena as Harman in Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki

Vivian Dsena's character of Harman, who falls in love with a transgender, portrayed by actress Rubina Dilaik on the show. Meghna Malik as Amma ji in Laado 2

Meghna Mallik played the role of fierce Amma ji, who rules a village and encourages female infanticide. However, her outlook towards the society changes for the good. Meghna's role of Amma ji was pulled in Laado 2 and after a certain time, she took the decision of quitting the show citing unprofessional behaviour by the team. After working on this popular show for five years, he quit the show, as he wanted to shift focus on other projects. His character was shown moving out of India in the series. Mohnish Bahl as Dr Shashank Gupta in Sanjivani

The first season was loved by everyone and in the second season of Sanjivani, Mohnish Bahl reprised the role of Dr Shashank Gupta. However, due to creative differences, he quit the show. "When this show started in August 2019, my track was going well, but things changed later. I discussed it with the makers and we tried exploring new angles, but they didn’t materialise. An actor can creatively enhance his character if there is clarity in the track or if he is given the script much in advance, which unfortunately was not the case," told Mohnish.
