Dipika Kakar reveals suffering from extreme hair fall due to side effects of stage two liver cancer; Shoaib Ibrahim falls ill

Dipika Kakar, who’s been battling stage two liver cancer, has kept fans updated about her health concerns and recovery journey. She recently shared a vlog on her YouTube channel where she spoke about the side effects of treatment. She also revealed that her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, has fallen sick and prayed for his speedy recovery. Here’s all you need to know:

Dipika Kakar revealed that while her blood tests and other reports are normal at the moment, she has been facing extreme hair loss as a side effect of stage two liver cancer. She mentioned how the sight of her hair fall after a wash deeply affects her. She said, “In Shoaib’s vlog I mentioned that the blood report has come normal. However, what’s affecting me at the moment is the hair loss I’ve been facing as a side effect. Every time I see my hair fall in huge numbers after a wash, I get shocked.”

In her latest vlog, Dipika also shared that Shoaib has not been keeping well. She gave fans a glimpse of him resting in his room, looking visibly unwell, while their son Ruhaan adorably pretended to be a young doctor, giving injections to his father.

Shoaib, despite being unwell, shared a series of Instagram stories about his current favourite Bigg Boss 19 contestants. He mentioned enjoying the personalities of Amaal Mallik, Zeishan Quadri, and Abhishek Kumar. He also said he has been listening to Tanya Mittal’s fun stories and finds them entertaining. Dipika and Shoaib further praised Kunickaa Sadanand for delivering the “right kind of content” on the show.

Reflecting on his life, Shoaib said he always dreamt of success, moving to a big city, and taking care of his family. He shared, “Every person, whether it’s a girl or a guy, dreams of being successful, coming to a big city, and taking care of their family. Thanks to God, I’ve been able to do that. I have a great family, a great wife, and so many people love me, so there’s nothing more I could ask for. People ask me why I don’t respond to hate comments, but I feel like I already have everything I once desired, so why react to negativity?”

Shoaib opened up about how he and Dipika have been conscious of Ruhaan’s diet. He revealed that they didn’t give him sugar for the first two years and salt for one year. Even now, they avoid giving him biscuits. He said, “We didn’t give him sugar for 2 years and salt for a year. Even now after 2 years, we avoid giving him biscuits. However, sometimes we do give him sweet items.”

Shoaib responded to a fan’s comment about Dipika’s health, sharing that she is doing much better than before. He expressed gratitude for the love and support they continue to receive. In another Instagram story, Dipika also thanked her fans and sent them her love.
