Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev actress Kanishka Soni on celebrating shravan month: ‘I'm happy to enjoy my devotion in Los Angeles’

The holy month of Shravan, dedicated to Lord Shiva, holds special significance for devotees across the world. This year, Shravan month begins on July 11, 2025, and will conclude on August 9, 2025. For actress Kanishka Soni, known for her roles in Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev, Diya Aur Baati Hum, and Pavitra Rishta, this month is a deeply spiritual time as she continues her devotion from her new home in Los Angeles.

Speaking about her connection to Shravan month, Kanishka shared, “This Shravan month, I am wholeheartedly dedicating my time and energy to Lord Shiva, honoring his divine sacrifice of drinking poison to save the world. I will be observing fasts every Monday, chanting his name, mantras and celebrating his glories through bhajans and kirtans. Here in LA, we do have shiv temples. I’m shifted here but I’m following every ritual and that makes me feel connected to my country.”


Highlighting her spiritual practices further, she said, “As per our culture, I also include bhajans of Lord Krishna and Lord Ram, embracing the unity of all divine forms. This month is not just about rituals—it’s a sacred opportunity for inner purification and spiritual elevation. I am also blessed to be associated with ISKCON, engaging in Harinam sankirtan, distributing the Bhagavad Gita, and sharing Krishna consciousness with others. Shravan is truly an auspicious and divine month, and I’m grateful to be using it in service, devotion, and upliftment of others.”

Kanishka concluded, “Though I’m shifted here, my devotion and faith remain the same. I’m happy to find Shiva temples here. I feel blessed.” Her spiritual journey continues to inspire fans, proving that true devotion transcends geography.
