Earlier, Debattama opened up about her health and how she was losing her voice, she shared, “I don’t know how long it’s been at first I thought it’s laryngitis but Dr Just cleared it that it is not laryngitis. It’s been more than 1 1/2 months that I have lost my voice. My forte is singing on a high note but I’m unable to do that. I have changed four doctors and I have been praying for it since long. I’m only able to sing on a mid scale and I really want my voice back.”

Debattama also spoke about her love for singing and quipped, "Jaise Kisi ke liye bhi kala Aur unka kaam bahut importance rakhta hai. Acting is also my passion but singing I’ve been doing ever since I was a kid. Being a singer just imagine Na Gaana kya hota hai. I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I know I’ll get my voice back and I’ll be able to sing once again on high notes. I’m just trying to stay positive."
