Chef Ranveer Brar’s blind pressure wall leaves contestants in sweat
The camaraderie of MasterChef India Jodi’s was put to the ultimate test when Chef Ranveer Brar introduced the Blind Wall Pressure Test' . This task, now regarded as the most grueling of the season, literally drove a wedge between the contestants, forcing those in Black Apron to fight for their survival in this competition. The jodis were tasked with recreating Chef Ranveer’s signature Satvik Dish. The twist came in the form of a massive wall, which was mounted between the partners. Now the partners were supposed to cook separately, all the while maintaining a perfect synchronization. The challenge demanded a proper flow of verbal communication. A lapse at any point could end the jodi's journey in the Master Chef India's kitchen.Observing the distress among the jodi’s Chef Kunal Kapur shared his concerns with Chef Ranveer, “Chef Ranveer mujhe lagta hai jo challenge aap leke aaye hai kaafi difficult hai, lekin mujhe aur Vikas ko lagta hai humme inki thodi help karni chahiye”. Chef Vikas Khanna added, “I think we need to set them up for success and not to break them”. Acknowledging the intensity, Chef Ranveer granted each jodi a 15-minute window to break the wall, allowing them to consult face-to-face and boost their flagging confidence. While Saisree, Avni, and Ajinkya managed to find a rhythmic flow of communication, the pressure weighed heavily on sisters Deepali and Jamuna. Accustomed to cooking side-by-side, the wall shattered their usual harmony. Chef Ranveer Brar praised them for their fighting spirit, “Sabse pehle toh aap keliye jordaar taliya, bina dhakkan khole aapki himmat ki daant deni chahiye. Voh ek vakt tha jab Deepaliji oven ke baju mein baith gayi thi ki mujhse nahi horaha, aur ek aaj ka time tha jab Jamunaji ne bola mujhse nahi horaha lekin dono uthke khade hue aur at least itni himmat ki main khana end tak leke jaugi.
